Sweet Maine Cottage in Camp Ellis

My updated cozy cottage has new beds, bedding and water views. It is nicely located just a short walk to a beach, restaurant and working harbor.
There is a large backyard with seating and grill.
Camp Ellis is a charming village where locals and renters mingle. You may even find yourself becoming repeat guests!

There is an outdoor shower with hot and cold water, a nice propane grill, outdoor furniture, a yard, parking and a really friendly community.

I live in the neighborhood so am close by if you have any questions or concerns. I hope you love it here and choose to return yearly!

Camp Ellis is the type of place where you can leave your things at the beach while you run "home" for lunch and everything will be there when you return! It is a community with a lot of tradition. Many families have lived there for several generations! Seasonal residents, year round residents and weekly guests are welcoming and friendly toward each other. It's the kind of place that you want to return to!

Important: Before you arrive you will be asked to complete guest verification through third-party provider Superhog. This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. Superhog will contact you via email and/or text to complete the verification. Please do so prior to arriving at the property to enable a quick and easy check-in process. You will also be given the choice between a security deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver.
When I purchased 10 Beach Ave a couple of years ago, I replaced all the beds, bedding, pots and pans, dishes, glasses and utensils. I want my guests to feel respected and return annually! I expect my guests to treat 10 Beach Ave. like a home. It should be left as it was found. If something should break or become damaged, I expect my guests to inform me. We will arrange for repair, replacement or compensation.
Camp Ellis is a neighborhood. I expect my guests to respect my neighbors and their summer guests. Only the agreed upon number of guests may stay in my home. I do allow most dogs. I must however, be informed prior to arrival. All waste must be picked up.

Great beach house for no more than 4 people

Accurate description but the Spiral staircase is very tight and a little scary, especially at night. With the only bathroom downstairs so nobody wanted to stay upstairs.

Beautiful beach house

It’s a beautiful little spot, we had 6 adults and there was plenty of room for everyone. The keypad entry made checking in and popping in and out in different groups very easy.

Nice stay at Camp Ellis

Enjoyed our stay at this property. The owner was responsive to text messages before and during our stay. The pictures were accurate and myself and the 4 others who stayed had a nice time. The fire pit was a nice touch and we had an evening bonfire which was nice to relax and catch up.

Beautiful area, disappointing discription of house.

Online photos were beautiful, was so excited to surprise my best friend for her birthday. Upon walking in I knew I had been deceived. Much darker than pictures and much smaller. I opened the first floor bedroom door and it fell off the track. Living room curtain rod was hanging down , only attached on one side. Looking at different dog friendly options, I was excited that this property had a fence...however it was broken and had huge gaps making it non functional for the dogs. I love a spiral staircase, but this one is so tiny that it was hard to navigate. Yes it has air conditioning and the upstairs bedrooms were great but only one window unit on the main floor. I guess I should have known by the fish eye lens and the lack of reviews. It was even requested that if I had a less than 5 star review to please inform the host. I did. " Sorry , we will try to make it better for the next visit"was what I got. That being said, the area is great but would not stay at this property again.

Beautiful location & wonderful host

Our family had a wonderful stay in Camp Ellis. We would recommend this home to anyone looking for a peaceful location, which is very close to the Ocean. If you sit outside on the balcony you can listen to the waves. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The Bouley Family
