  • Petit Jean Cliff-side Retreat sits at the edge of Petit Jean Mountain. This 4,800 sq ft home on the south brow is located 1/4 mile from Museum of Automobiles and 3 miles from Mather Lodge. Your group will be ideally situated to enjoy all Petit Jean State Park has to offer.

    This gated home was built in 1993, has hardwood and tile floors, 2 large balconies, a full kitchen with an eating area, formal dining room, living room, a media room featuring AppleTV, and 2 fire places. Ground floor has 3 bedrooms including the master, and 2.5 baths. Two more bedrooms, each with a private bath, are upstairs. There are 2 king sized beds, 3 queen sized beds, a full sized bed, a twin bed, a and 2 cribs available.
    Location is ideal for those wishing to visit Petit Jean State Park, the Winthrop Rockefeller Institute, the Car Shows, or the Arkansas Goat Festival. Great hiking, fishing and biking options are all very close.
    Guests will have full access to all features of the home, including WiFi, linens, appliances, 2 car garage, family style games, and basic toiletry items.

    This home has some small stores near by, with hours depending on the season. Guests want to remember to shop before they arrive.

    This home is set on a beautiful cliff overlooking miles and miles of land below it. We have not reduced the natural beauty of the setting by installing a fence; children and drunk people should have careful supervision to prevent falls.

    We welcome service animals and outdoor goats.

This property has always been comfortable, clean and spacious for all from the beds to the amazing view, kitchen, seating availability, tv room, bathrooms, etc…This was our third visit to this property and every time has been awesome.Contact with the host was exceptional before during and after. Unbelievable experience!

The house was amazing for our family’s trip to the area for a wedding, Sarah was so attentive to all our questions. House was clean, organized and well stocked. We all felt at home and had a great time.

This was one of the nicest VRBO’s I’ve ever stayed in, and I have stayed in many. The host is very communicative which is important to me. We will be back.

Great stay

Great place to stay to explore the state parks in the area. I also appreciate the info from the owner before our visit of accessibility (or lack of it) in the area and for recommending Mather Lodge which was yummy! Would definitely stay here again for this type of vacation

Perfection

The cliffside retreat was perfect for our family vacation! The house had everything we needed and more. Plenty of room, wifi, an amazing kitchen, and the view from the deck is beautiful!

Our family had the best time here! The first night we got a Walmart grocery order delivered and it was extremely convenient. Each day some of the family would leave to go hike and enjoy nature and some would stay and hang out on the patio and enjoy the view. We went to the petit Jean overlooks but felt like we didn’t need an overlook because we had the same view from the house. Lol. There was plenty of room for everyone and plenty of bathrooms. This house is perfect for large groups.

Spacious home on a beautiful property

The home is just beautiful, super clean and perfect for a large group/family. The back deck is huge with lots of seating and spectacular views of valley below. Very nice kitchen with large laundry room, and seating for lots of folks at meals.

4th of July at Petit Jean

This property was gorgeous. The pictures advertising were very accurate. The house was neat and clean. There was plenty of room for a large group of people to visit and entertain.

Great Stay, gorgeous view!

We used it for our annual kick off meeting for work and it was perfect! Lots of rooms, beds, and enough privacy for everyone to have their own space. The view can't be beat! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful

Everything you could want for a family getaway. Plenty of room to run for the kiddos, close to Petit Jean State Park and within driving distance of more great places to explore. Absolutely gorgeous view to admire from the deck while you drink your coffee. Host responds promptly to your questions.

Large and roomy with a great view

Lots of room for our family of nine. Clean comfortable and well supplied. Beautiful view out the back. This was our second stay here. Most of the trails, lake, petting zoo, and ice cream were all within a 5 minute drive.

Big, beautiful house

The house was so spacious! We are a family of 10 and and we never felt crowded. The kids liked the den with the TV, while the adults gathered in the living room or the huge deck with an amazing view. The house was spotless and the host was very responsive. We loved the privacy of the location while still being so close to Petit Jean State Park. Perfect!

Wonderful experience!!!

Sarah was such a great hostess! Communication was spot on, the home was fantastic and exactly as described! Plenty of room for all of us and the views from the back porches were breathtaking! We will definitely come back as our travels brings us to the Little Rock area!!

fantastic, Sarah was friendly. House and view was amazing plus she told us ahead time to get groceries before our arrival .She even tried to address the road condition up to the driveway for us but the contractor wasnt able to arrive ontime so how about an A for effort. would come back again. Great location for motorcycle enthusiasts.

We had a wonderful stay on the mountain at this home! The rooms were clean, spacious, with plenty of room for all guests. The outdoor balconies offered beautiful views of the valley below, and was a much needed reprieve from day to day life. We were in town for a funeral & Celebration of life- and had a wonderful time at this property catching up with family. Grateful for the extras with laundry appliances available, and nearly as many bathrooms as bedrooms. All the guests complimented me on finding this property, as it was comfortable for all. The last night we stayed, there was a storm; and subsequent power outage. The owner showed up with lanterns, and flashlights to aid in our ability to get packed. There was a fireplace to keep us warm as temperatures dipped into the 20s that evening. Thank you Sarah for a wonderful place to rest under difficult circumstances for our family. Would love to stay here again!!

Family Reunion 2024

Our family stayed at this property last year. 3 if my siblings, their spouses, myself, my husband and our 97 year old father stayed. We hosted the reunion on Saturday. 3 cousins, spouses, some of our children were there during the day on Friday and Saturday. There were 24 total in the house, plenty of room and the huge kitchen made it easy to take care of meals. Wonderful experience. FYI our cousins came in from Georgia and Conway.

Family reunion

Spacious home with room for everyone! The view from the deck is beautiful. The kitchen is huge and laid out well for multiple cooks. Kids enjoyed playing with the toys and running around. The adults loved the two living rooms and big tables for games. The bedrooms all had direct access to a full sized bathroom and there is a half-bath in the hall.The beds were very nice, no complaints. Petit Jean is a great place to visit, lots of trails, short and long. The overlooks are just stunning. Park ranger talks were fun and very educational. Kayaks, paddle boats, and canoes were available but we just didn’t find time for them.

Perfection

Everything was perfect. Amazing location and the house left plenty of room for our large family. The porches and views are to die for. The pictures do not do any Justice !!!! The kids did complain that there was only one tv but that just gave us more of a reason to get them out of the house and out to some trails !!!! Also, super convenient that there were not one but two pack and plays. We had twins on this trip so it saved some room packing. We will definitely be booking again. The e tote family has decided this is out go to house for our annual trip ! Can’t wait to visit again.
