"House was comfortable, clean and well stocked. We were hiking a section of the AT and it was very convenient to several trailheads and a store in Bland. We enjoyed relaxing on the front porch after our hikes amongst the peaceful countryside and friendly grazing cows! Awesome sunsets as a bonus."

"More difficult to get to since hwy. 58 closed at Damascus. Pretty drive taking the long way. Too bad the Virginia creeper trail closed, I was able to go down until the first washed out bridge at green cove. Enjoyed the quiet stay."

"Perfect place to let hour hair down and relax, close proximity to Grayson Highlands. Don't be like us and wait until last minute to fill up on gas! As two females traveling, we felt safe and comfortable. Lovely home. Thank you for sharing with us. "

"The cabin was a great place to spend our anniversary weekend. Easy access to Hungry Mother SP for hiking. Super comfy bed and the hot tub has an awesome set up under the trees. The whole cabin site was fantastic!"

"The location is perfect, the home is charming and all the extras like the hot tub and out building and fire pit add to the magic. The host was wonderful and I would recommend this place to everyone. Absolutely beautiful! "

"Very nicely renovated and roomy. Tight parking for a truck in the carport but we made it work. Nice to have covered parking area. Nicely appointed. A king bed would have been appreciated but kitchen was nicely stocked with everything we needed. Cute little bungalow. Although neighbor's house was in state of disrepair, we did meet him and his dog and he was very nice. Neighborhood under renovation with some houses in really bad shape but safe area even though it didn't appear that way. ...

"This cabin did not disappoint. The property was amazing inside and out. We had an amazing time spending 8 days here enjoying every moment. The host was great and very quick to respond to any questions or concerns prior and during our stay. 10 out of 10 would recommend! "

"Comfortable little country home with a great hot tub. Nature views, animals coming through the back yard are always pleasing. We usually come in the fall, but it was great as well in the Spring. We bike the New River trail and look forward to coming “home” and relaxing afterwards. The outdoor furnishings need some work and windows and shades need some extra cleaning attention. That view from the expansive windows is a real eye-pleaser! We added an extra day to our stay. "

It sits on top of a hill with a huge dining window overlooking the valley and mountains in the distance, with blooming rhododendrons and a visiting hummingbird drinking from the feeder. It was quiet and peaceful and the kitchen was the best-stocked kitchen out of any of the probably 30 houses we've rented on vacations. "This cabin was the perfect size for our family of four. We were in town for the New River Trail races (I ran the 50k) and we enjoyed the map of the trail on the dining table. The kitchen was stocked and the snacks and K cups were appreciated. There is a trail down to the river (not for those with limited mobility) and it was a fun adventure finding the markers in the trees. "Such a Great place to stay for comfort and view. The house was very clean with everything needed to relax, cook and just rest! View is spectacular and we just sit for hours watching the river flow by. Neighbor's sweet dogs stopped by couple times a day to visit and get belly rubs.Quiet street with very little traffic.Craig was very responsive as aways. This was my second visit and we will be back! "
