"A very comfortable lodging above a store in Glastonbury. A beautiful secret garden entrance and easy shopping. Everything is very quiet at night with the town closing down early. There was parking close by and we walked everywhere the whole time we were there. Lilija on staff was kind and helpful."

"Our hosts Sarah & Andy could not have been more welcoming - absolutely wonderful, friendly people who went out of their way to look after us. English breakfast was superb with fresh #Farm local eggs & all the trimmings. Lovely to hear owls hoot at night & bird song in the morning. The night skies full of stars. Our room & shower were spotless! Well done 🙌"

"Such a great stay at the hideaway. The accommodation and views were stunning. Had such a warm welcome from the hosts and the breakfast and attention to detail just made it that bit more special. Highly recommend and we can’t wait to come back and stay again "

"Stayed here for one night, staff were all very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in room 2 which was at the front. Lovely big room with 4 poster bed. Very comfortable and clean. There are lots of hotels in Wells but I’m glad we chose this one. "

"Brilliant hotel had a good night sleep no noise and the shower water was hot the only concern i had was the glass shower door when it stung open it almost hit the sink so i put a towel on the sink just incase my kids swung it open and smashed it "

"The White Hart is a stunning Grade 1 listed building with beautiful cozy decor. Our room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming and they had a fantastic food & range of beers & ciders (locally sourced)! It is conveniently located very close to Wells market, the cathedral and Bishops Palace. We would 100% recommend The White Hart to anyone who wishes to visit Wells"
