It was so easy to communicate with our host. We are so incredibly thankful that he was willing to extend our stay a night after!"

"We stayed in the Basic Cabin with 1 queen, 2 twin beds. It was quaint, small, clean, old rustic and appeared to have had some renovations. The queen bed was soft and comfy. The twin bed mattresses were thin and harder. Couldn’t get the ceiling fan to work, and the gas wood stove wasn’t needed on a hot night. All the cooling came from a small window A/C unit. Kitchenette was pretty stocked. Bathroom was quite small and there wasn’t a toilet paper rod. The exposed pipes behind the shower were...

"The apartment was larger than a motel room. The kitchen was well equipped. The unit was very clean and conveniently located. The queen bed mattress was okay for my wife but too soft for me. The futons would work for small children but not for adults."

"We (wife and two boys 9yo) have been coming to Cranmore for the last three years but have never stayed in the Fairbanks lodge. The property was beautiful, BJ (owner/manager) was super responsive…even going out of his way to get us in well ahead of check-in time. All in all it was a great experience. Look forward to booking again. "

"We were looking to be in a specific area close by a friend's home. The unit was clean, well appointed and the perfect layout for our group. Check in was simple. "

"Incredible location, close to Storyland, downtown North Conway, Echo Lake, and down the street from Cranmore. The backyard/grounds are beautiful and very well maintained, and we loved using the hot tub and fire pit and looking out at the mountain views. There is a lot of space and the house seemed sound proof, which was nice since we were with family and kids ranged from age 2-10! The library was so cozy. The beds could use an upgrade, but otherwise everything was perfect! "

"This was an amazing property! We had a large group with kids ranging from ages 6-15. All of the kids enjoyed this stay! Plenty of fun activities for all. Swimming at the pool was the top rated activity in our group but many also enjoyed the boating, beach area, frog catching, air hockey, ping pong, pool table, volleyball, corn hole, theater room and more. "This home was very comfortable!! Loved the open floor plan and space to be able to spread out. My family had an amazing thanks giving dinner here, kitchen accommodated everything, even had a foil turkey pan awaiting my arrival!! Perfect!! My only complaint was sink drainage was very sluggish, had to wash dishes by hand because when I filled dishwasher and started it, It started quickly leaking all over floor. Other than that our stay was amazing!!! Had a great time!!"
