"We chose to stay here for a little getaway prior to a wedding and it was perfect. In Ohiopyle, it was so peaceful and close to the trails/sites. The hosts were very responsive and helpful when we had an unexpected kitty show up on the porch. Had no issues and loved the super comfy couch & hot tub. "

"My daughter is a student athlete at Seton Hill U and we stayed here for a few days while she recovered from ACL surgery. This home was very accommodating for our needs. All one level living with 2 full baths. Place was new and clean. Owner was responsive when needed and so nice, providing extra ice in the freezer for my daughter’s recovery. One thing to consider is that there are just the basics in the kitchen so if you plan on cooking alot during your stay, you should know that in advance....

"The perfect quiet, clean, comfortable place for our family of 5 to stay while in Ohiopyle. It was convenient walking distance to great spots to eat and explore. Our kids were asking when we got to come back to “the bear house” to stay. We look forward to coming back! "

"First off, communication with the host was fast, reliable and accurate. Property was exactly as listed, no surprises. Very clean. Well kept. All amenities worked and were easy to access. Location is absolutely perfect. Easy walk to amazing coffee, food, scenery, wilderness and all of the amazing things Ohiopyle has to offer. I will definitely be back and would highly recommend this to anyone. "

"This was a wonderful spot for a weekend getaway! The location was perfect and we had plenty of space for a 6 person family. Very close to the gap trail and easy access to town and hiking. We had fun for all! "

"My family and I enjoyed our stay here. Clean, cozy, good water pressure. Would go here again. Only thing that I’d recommend to the owner is to ditch the scented plug-ins. Some people (like myself) are quite sensitive to artificial fragrances. "

"We wanted to spend the night in ohiopyle for our anniversary. It is one of our favorite places ! This place didn’t disappoint. We will be back !"

"Love this area. So many outdoor activities, fishing hiking biking rafting. Also a great little local bar the Twisted Spoke Cafe- with music, burgers and drinks- great new owners and a wonderful staff. Highly recommend! "
