"We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-day stay at Copperhead. Our cabin was very clean, comfortable and cozy, and the staff, especially Denise, was very friendly and accommodating. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and the huge, wraparound porch. The Flying Trout had great food and live entertainment. Not mentioned in other reviews is that it is close to an Appalachian Trail access point on Route 19. All in all, a very relaxing mountain hideaway."

"Property was nice! Lobby was clean. Room was beautiful and clean! Beds were comfy! Location was fine for our stay. Staff was very friendly. The free breakfast could have been better. Very generic, toast, bagels, cereal, yogurt and juice. Something served hot would have been wonderful to round out our stay. Didn't know there was a fire pit until we were checking out. No other amenities are available. 8/10 would recommend and stay again."

"The room had black mold on the walls and floor. The refrigerator did not work. Pool was not open. The pool I can live with. As an individual with asthma, the mold made it hard to breathe. When I said something about the room and the mold issue, I was told all rooms were booked however there were more than half the rooms empty all night. I would recommend staying at another hotel there. The owners live on site, but were not accommodating when it came to getting another room. All other...

"Would have liked to have had better mattress on the beds Seemed like they were to soft and not very comfortable You could almost feel the springs when you put your weight on them Just seemed like inexpensive mattresses Other than that the stay was great One other thing the hot tub kept saying something about the primary filter needing to be looked at "

"We got a room next to the elevator and it was very noisy. The air conditioner kept turning off and we woke in the middle of the night extremely stuffy and warm. It was quite challenging to get a temperature that was comfortable. Breakfast was okay. Not too impressed with this hotel."
