"Perfect location so close to Great Lakes Naval Base! We couldn’t have asked for a better location. The house was lovely and had many thoughtful amenities. We would definitely stay again. "

"Home suited our needs perfectly. Only suggestion would be to have some basic toiletries in the bathrooms, such as shampoo or bars of soap. The bedroom with the bunkbeds needs one or two small nightstands, so you can put a phone or bottle of water near the bed instead of on the floor. Ended up using a cardboard box as my table. But would definitely come back."

"Property is clean & well kept. Host is on site, polite & quick to respond. Camper is in their driveway (not a campground). Privacy isn't an issue.The lake is 2 to 3 blocks from the property.The factory mattresses were the biggest disappointment. "

"This is a lovely place to stay…it’s cozy, well-stocked and located right near the beach (Lake Michigan). We had a wonderful week here! "

"It was an absolute delight. It is a beautiful home. Wonderful for Navy bootcamp famlies at graduation, 3 minutes from base!"

"This home is as comfortable and well equipped as described, with a very "homey" feel that is easy to settle into. Given its location, and the surrounding area, you may be deceived to think that its in more of a neighborhood or busy more urban location. It's quite the contrary. Once you've entered the home, and are out on the beautiful property, you are in your own private oasis that could be located in any North woods location. "The place has a nice large living area. The hosts are very kind. Also, Fox Lake has a fantastic playground that our grandchild, who lives near there, enjoyed."

"This place is extremely impressive and was clearly made for parties. We stayed 4 nights for a 50th birthday with a mix of 12-14 friends, relatives and kids. The main house is very nice, clean, and air conditioned, and was perfect to allow kids and people wanting to go to bed earlier to get a great nights sleep and be happy. Meanwhile, the people who wanted to party all night could be in the party house having a great old time and not disturb those other folks at all. The party house is...

"I felt very comfortable in this Cottage. Just about everything you need is provided. She’s very thoughtful to leave baskets so in case you forgot something there’s always something there like personal items, to use. Would definitely stay at this place again. The backyard was set up with a nice seating arrangement and a fire pit and grilling was there if you wish to do it. The nighttime lighting was very nice with solar lights."

"Hosts went above and beyond to accommodate my senior mother with a private bed on main level. They were also accommodating on other requests that I had. It was such a fun, nostalgic place. It was all exactly how I remembered the Old Mill to be and the private beach made for some additional family time. I see a wonderful future for this getaway place!! "
