"Great location for walking into Bastogne with cafes, restaurants and museums nearby. The apartment itself was spacious and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you needed. When we arrived, there was just the actual duvet cover on the bed with no duvet inside the cover, I can only assume that was because the weather had been a lot warmer. We did find a duvet in the closet which we used. However, it was the same on the sofa bed in the living room i.e. no actual duvet, just the cover and...

"The location is beautiful — surrounded by nature. It is also close to Bastogne if you want to visit WWII sites.
The lodging, though, was unfortunately not pleasant. The whole place smelled like mildew. When we checked the first bedroom, the bedding was heavily perfumed to try to cover up the smell of mildew. The second bedroom smelled awful. Not just mildew smells. Two of us decided to sleep on the couches instead of sleeping in that room. Opening the windows did very little.

"We spent three nights at this lovely place, and it couldn't have been more beautiful. The house is located in a charming small town. We met our neighbors, who were all extremely friendly. The property includes a large garden where you can enjoy the sun. Our host was very friendly and responded quickly to all our messages. The house is clean and equipped with everything you need for your vacation. I highly recommend spending your next holiday in La-Roche-en-Ardenne!"

"No instructions were sent as to how to gain entrance to the property - phone calls went to voicemail with no reply to messages left. After knocking on neighbours doors I found a lovely lady who rang the owner. However, we were given the wrong code for the key box by the owner.. Follow up phonecalls went to voicemail even when the lovely neighbour rang again. She then tried with her husband's phone and this was answered and we were then given the correct code.
