The Space:
Welcome to our holiday home at Lake Ōkareka. It's a lovely two-story place we've designed with your comfort in mind. Downstairs, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for whipping up some delicious meals. There's a dining room for enjoying those meals, and a cozy lounge that opens up to decks on either side – great for hanging out outdoors. We've also got a laundry room, a separate toilet, and a garage for your convenience. Upstairs, you'll discover the bedrooms and bathrooms. The master bedroom has a comfy king-size bed and a walk-through wardrobe that leads to a private bathroom. Bedroom Two has a queen-size bed, and Bedroom Three has two king single beds, plus pull-out single trundle beds, so it can sleep up to four people. There's also a second bathroom upstairs with a shower and vanity. We hope you have a fantastic stay!

Guest Access:
Enjoy complete privacy and access to the entire house during your stay. This includes three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, living areas with an indoor fireplace, and outdoor spaces with seating and a BBQ. Guests also have access to the garage and free parking.

While the immediate neighborhood is primarily residential, you're just a short drive from the vibrant heart of Rotorua. For dining, you'll find a variety of options a short drive away, from casual eateries to fine dining restaurants. While the immediate area offers serenity, a quick trip will provide you with all the amenities and attractions you could desire. Getting Around:
Getting around is easy from Retreat on the Ridge. Free parking is available on-site in the garage and in the driveway. For those arriving by air, Rotorua Airport (ROT) is approximately a 15-minute drive away. While public transport options are limited directly from the property, the Rotorua city center, with bus services, is a short drive, offering connections to various parts of the region. Taxis and ride-sharing services are readily available for convenient travel to local attractions and dining spots. The central location also makes it easy to explore the surrounding areas by car, offering scenic drives and access to the best of Rotorua's natural beauty.

Please note the driveway has an incline. If you plan to bring a boat, please confirm suitability with us before booking.
