"The house was super clean and well organized. It has everything you’d need for a vacation. There are a lot of spaces to gather or have some quiet time to yourself. The canoe was damaged, which was a major bummer for the younger boys who wanted to fish on the lake and couldn’t kayak. The swing by the lake was also out of commission due to maintenance. "

"This is a beautiful home with many extras! A quick walk to Bimini Beach with a gorgeous view of the lake from the deck.Kayaks,a paddle board and 2 bicycles are available for you to use. A bonus fridge and a washer & dryer are included. It’s tastefully decorated throughout the house. We definitely plan to go back!"

"Absolutely amazing place to stay, a quiet little place on the hillside. The host was more than accommodating, helpful, and nice. He answered every question we had and helped immensely! We stayed for 3 days and loved every minute! Thank you!"

"What a comfortable and cozy place to stay! The location is perfect for a visit to Indiana --- close to downtown, IUP, shopping, and even a lovely park with hiking trails. Chris, our host, was terrific: great communication and the property was just as described. We enjoyed quiet walks in the neighborhood and the back deck is perfect for a morning or evening cup of coffee. The bed was comfy and the bath was well appointed. We had a wonderul stay. Highly recommend!"

"The apartment was very clean. The overall building was fascinating - old dark wood inside, etc. The location was convenient to downtown DuBois and nearby eating places. We had a family get-together in Reynoldsvlle, which was an easy drive. Our only feedback is that the bed creaked in a little and the mattress sagged a bit in the middle. Glad we could have our dog. Otherwise it was a wonderful stay, and hope to stay again next year!"

"The property is everything it is advertised to be and more.They have truly thought of every detail to make for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Everything you need is provided, I was shocked at the number of small things made available that most never think of until needed. I would 100% stay here again. Tim the property manager was fantastic to deal with and very helpful when I requested an earlier than expected checking.ASincerely Scott R MooreArizona"

"This was an overnight stay!! Wish we would’ve booked longer & will know next time.LOL It was such a beautiful place, very quiet. Loved the view we had from our back deck. All the amenities you would need from dishes, silverware, pots & pans, laundry facility w/laundry soap. Outdoor grill, Fire pit & the Hot tub was definitely a wonderful addition!! The property manager answered any questions we had promptly!! I would definitely recommend them!! "

"Thank you so much for sharing your home with us! We had so much fun with our family on vacation! The living spaces worked very well and we spent a lot of time on the huge deck! The owner Lori and property manager, Mimi, were wonderful and communication was excellent. "

"We had a great time, the house has plenty of space and is beautiful. We enjoyed going kayaking in the lake a few times. We had a minor plumbing issue while we were there and Colin had it taken care of immediately. We would definitely recommend this property. "

"We came here to visit family and escape the heat and humidity in Central Florida and boy did we. The property looks like a tiny house, but suprisingly has three sleeping areas and a combination kitchen setting area all made of natural wood, looked like hewn knotty pine. Quality workmanship, we wouldn't be surprised if the house was built by the PA Dutch or Amish. The deck (see attached picture) was our favorite spot to lounge on in the evening, Saw turkeys, deer, rabbits, and squirrels and...

"Absolutely fabulous! We loved our stay at Oar House. The amenities were excellent; air con, kitchen fully stocked with utensils, large fridge/freezer, coffee maker (pod or filter), ample towels & bedding to name a few. Its a great location for venturing out to the nearby state parks and other attractions, so all in all we had a great time. Thanks Andy, for sharing your property with us and it was also great to meet your dad; such a lovely guy!"
