Illa Rossharbour

The hotel was lovely and convenient for us. The restaurant and bar was also very nice. Our only comment is about the corridors - some of the walls are scratched near the bottom - due to either trolleys or cases hitting the wall. The material is soft, probably wallpaper and is easily torn.

Expedias states there is a restaurant and pizza may be available at the hotel. There is no restaurant at the hotel. You have to drive several miles to find somewhere to eat in the evening. It mentions there is a bar at the hotel. There is no bar. What it means is there is a room where you can bring your own beer/wine that you’ve bought elsewhere. The rooms are cold and it takes an age to get any hot water. On a positive, the young staff we met were very friendly, though both had only been there a few days. Won’t be staying there again.

Very nice room. The breakfast was ok even if the hot food was over cooked and I missed the fried muchrooms. The bar was a bit worn but ok.
