"We loved our stay at Cappabhaile. The room was huge with tasteful traditional touches. A fun game room. The first time I didn’t wake up in pain for years. In other words great bed. A beautiful view of the cows chomping grass outside our window. The breakfast was excellent. It was delicious and filling. Five big 🌟’s from us!"

"This is an excellent location, about 15-20 minutes outside of Galway. The room was clean, included two twins and was comfortable. We were on the top floor which was up two flights of stairs, only annoying when bringing the luggage in. There was parking for about 6-8 vehicles in the back, we didn't have trouble finding a space but the lot was full each morning. "The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast each morning was a good selection and very delicious. The location was convenient for us. (@ 10 minutes to Eyre Square and area). We had the top floor room (quadruple room but three beds) which meant a lot of stairs (28 each way) each time we left the room. The shower is very small so that would be an issue for a larger/taller person. (@ 2 feet x 2 feet). The room was nice and bright from the skylights and the cross breeze when the windows were...

"Great location. 5 minute walk to the Spanish quarter. It was nice to be far enough away from all the partying, but a close stumble home. Rooms were clean. You have to walk up a flight of stairs to get to the room, so not very accessible unless you are able bodied. Bed was firm, but comfortable. Pillows were "ok". The room was spacious. Bathroom could have used a little work. I didn't see a hair dryer. Soap in the shower is one bottle of "hair and body". So ladies, bring your own."

"When we arrived, there was a strong unpleasant smell because the rubbish in the kitchen had not been taken out. We also discovered skid marks left by previous guests in the toilet. After reporting these issues to the concierge, a cleaner was sent to address the problem. The property is very misleading compared to the photos advertised. In reality, it feels more like a repurposed office block than a serviced apartment. We booked a twin room but were not informed that the accommodation appeared...

"Hotel was very nice overall. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The restaurant / bar area was very nice, although the food itself was average at best. The staff was as helpful as possible. At night the girl serving as hostess was also the one who checked us in. Although the hotel wasn't in the heart of the main shopping, restaurant and pub area it was a quick taxi ride to get there. Parking on site was very convenient."

"Room was clean and the staff were great to us. Hotel’s location was also great. 5 minute walk to the city centre, train, bus station, and Lidl (supermarket). Only thing that could have been better is a little bench for luggage and possibly another chair. We were two people so it would get crammy at times. Also, the walls are thin. Everything can be heard from the hallway. Luckily we had a corner room so it wasn’t bad at all. Overall, we would definitely come to the Dean again!"

"The toilet kept running all night, then ran out of water in the middle of a shower. Texted the property owner, who failed to respond. The staff at the coffee shop below was very nice, and they tried to help, but they did not get a response from the property owner either."

"AMAZING location. Great for if you’re planning on hitting the town and want somewhere near night life and super walkable. Ambiance from the Latin Quarter was great. Saw reviews of it being too loud, but it was really quiet with the windows closed so not sure what that’s all about. Very nice staff and good continental breakfast. Absolutely would recommend"
