"Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....

"Perfect location for nature, pubs, groceries, restaurants. Hosts were ultra friendly and helpful. We had alll we could possibly need. Highly recommend this comfy cottage!"

"This place was amazing. Perfect location for daily excursions. The cottage itself was wonderful!!!! Great open concept with large showers and water pressure. The beds were comfortable. The hostess was informative and made our stay more amazing with lemon cake. We will highly recommend this location."

"The accommodation was quite clean and well-appointed. The view and beach down the road was beautiful. Although we never met our host, other family members helped us with a couple of glitches. The only thing that we found difficult was the wet room bathroom setup. There is no way to keep the floor dry and it required considerable cleanup after every shower. We've encountered this before in other countries and on a train but it is not something we like to have to deal with. Other than that,...

"Our family of 16, ages 76-4, enjoyed a wonderful week at Sunnybank house. We loved having enough room (and bathrooms!) for all I’ve rented a lot of vacation houses over the years and never been in one as well equipped! Everything you could possibly need for cooking was there It’s also walking distance (really) to several good restaurants. Clifden is the perfect location to explore Connemara and Mayo."

Oughterard was a great base foe exploring and provided all we needed - Sullivan's cinnamon buns are addictive! Thanks to Joe for info about the area and Carmel for the scones. "Of the many visits to Ireland I've had, this could probably be my favourite cottage of all. The location is absolutely amazing how it's tucked away between the hills. The inside was very cute and cosy. Loved the nearest town, Oughterard, which had a lovely coffee spot, several grocery options, and an amazing pub. I didn't want to leave, and can't wait to come back."
