"The Getaway House is just that. You can get away from it all! The pool, hot tub and massage chair are all so relaxing! The back yard is great for dogs. The screened room on the deck is where I sat every morning with my cappuccino. The pool has colorful lights in it and it looks so cool at night. The kitchen is a good size for cooking. The bed and couch were comfortable. It's a nice setting. Cows across the street, a corn field next to the driveway and a tree filled back yard. There's a pizza...

"We traveled to the area to hike at Turkey Run State Park. We loved our stay here. The house was clean roomy. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. We appreciated the stocked coffee station. Highly recommend!"

"This home was perfect for our needs, centrally located between Rockville and Turkey Run with many Amish stop n shops just down the road for your farm to table experience. The sauna was the perfect start and ending to our days. We stayed for only 3 nights. With as much as we were able to locally in just two and a half days, we left feeling as if we had a full weeks escape. The home was very easy to settle into upon our arrival. "

"Lovely comfortable home. Beautiful grounds. Peaceful with walking paths and beautiful trees. Exactly what we were looking for. Close to Depauw. Nice restaurants in nearby Greencastle. My host was gracious and responsive. Highly recommend When we return to this area next spring, we defitnitly check availability."

"We had a wonderful stay for three nights! The kitchen was fully stocked with every utensil and pan you could imagine! The balconies were perfect for enjoying your meals with a view! The beds and furniture were very comfortable! There were movies and games for us to utilize during our downtime in the evenings! And my gamer kid and phone addicted teens had no issue utilizing the wifi! Highly recommend!"

"The property is beautiful. Only negative was the noise of some type equipment and road. The cabin itself is beautiful!"

"The area and the stay were excellent! Host was very accommodating. Place was comfy, welcoming and well stocked. We enjoyed hiking in Turkey Run, canoeing on Sugar Creek (though the water was too low), cooking on the grill, and having very cold beers, good music and food at the 36 Saloon. Covered bridges were fun! And, the tomatoes we picked fresh from the garden were outstanding ! Would definitely come back! Thanks so much for having us!"

"It was right in the thick of things and near everything. You can hear the train horns in the distance, and it had a nice big green yard. Also had a large deck but we had rain the whole time we were there, but it will hold a lot of people and had a dining table out there. Worked great as near all the family we went to see. "
