Bright, comfortable villa

Villa Mimosa is a comfortable house, bright and recently (2014).

You enter a large living room very bright thanks to large windows, bringing together both the living room, the dining room and open kitchen with a beautiful view of the garden and the village. Well equipped kitchen with all necessary crockery for 10 persons.

Corner sofa with TV and DVD player. Dining table for 10 people. Windows giving access to the partially covered terrace.

Laundry room with washing machine and a second refrigerator. Access to the garage by the laundry.

From the hall access to the two bedrooms on the ground floor (one with ensuite shower room: shower, sink and access to the terrace) separate toilet and bathroom with tub.

From the living room by stairs, access to 3 other bedrooms, one with its own bathroom (shower and sink). Bathroom with large shower and sink. Separate toilet. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes. So in total, 4 bathrooms for 5 rooms in this rental.

From the terraces, beautiful views of the mountains and vineyards of Roquebrun and river Orb located in low-cons. Access to the pool is from the main terrace, with stairs, so it is against there and surrounded by a tiled terrace. Facilities, sun loungers and a barbecue.

Enough space to park 3-4 cars inside the property. a garage for one car. Free telephone calls to landlines in Europe. Wifi and free internet.

Schönes großes Ferienhaus mit guter Ausstattung für einen Familienurlaub. Vermieter ist sehr gut erreichbar und hat sich im Zusammenhang mit kleineren Anliegen sofort gekümmert. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche.

Good villa, great location

Had a lovely time in Roquebrun. Andre is a great host, very friendly, easily contactable, quick to respond, fantastic local knowledge and excellent English (thanks). The pool was cleaned often and there is lots of space. Roquebrun is lovely and the villa location is great - under 10 minutes walk to the restaurants a small supermarket and a bakery. Kayaking, wine tasting and river/beach nearby Very well equipped kitchen with lots of crockery, glasses, pans and 2 large fridges. We were there during a heatwave and as described, there is only AirCon in the living room. The very high temperatures made the upstairs bedrooms unbearable even though Andre did source some fans for us. Nothing to be done about it really, just a fact of life. The outside area by the pool has limited shade provided by trees and although the terrace has shade all day, the seating is not that comfortable to spend long periods there. We managed to find enough shade but there were only 5 of us. Remember that there is 100 euro charge for bedding. We thought we could deal with that on arrival but we should have let Andre know in advance. Andre, did manage to sort out the bedding with 2 days notice though. 100 euro does seem a bit expensive for the bedding and towels. You could probably buy a set for that. I would think about the time of year and I would have found it crowded for 8 people. Overall we had a lovely time in a great location and a good villa with an excellent host. Thanks Andre.

Schöner Urlaub in einem wunderbar malerischen Örtchen

André ist ein sehr (!) netter Vermieter, wunderbar zu erreichen und wenn er vor Ort ist, auch sehr schnell da, um zu helfen. Das Haus ist wie beschrieben und bietet den schönen Rahmen für einen tollen Urlaub. Besonders praktisch fanden wir den zweiten großen Kühlschrank im HWS-Raum, die Garage war ein zusätzliches Plus. Der Ort ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für vielfältige Ausflüge in die Berge oder ans Meer. Vielen Dank für alles, André! Trotz eines schönen Aufenthalts haben wir noch einige Verbesserungsvorschläge zur Aufwertung, die wir zum Großteil auch André schon mitgeteilt haben, hier aber trotzdem nochmal nennen zwecks besserer Einschätzung des Objekts für neue Urlauber: - Schattenspender am Pool nötig (André meint, Sonnenschirme gingen immer kaputt) - Liegen sollten mal wieder kontrolliert und ausgetauscht werden (teilweise Kunststoff schwarz verfärbt/ kaputt) - Poolroboter gegen "Grünspan" auf dem Boden (Es gibt nur eine Bürste und ein Netz zur Reinigung des Pools durch die Gäste.) - Toaster fehlt - wir haben uns einen gekauft ;-) - Klimaanlagen in den oberen Räumen nötig- es war zeitweise kaum auszuhalten, da kein Lüftchen Abkühlung brachte - Insektenschutz vor den Fenstern fehlt (wir sind "ausgesaugt" worden ;-) - Hinweise für Familien mit kleinen Kindern: Die Fliesen der oberen Terrasse sind extrem glatt, sobald sie feucht werden, es gibt auch kein durchgängiges Geländer als Fallschutz, ebenso hat die offene Treppe innen kein Geländer.

Lovely villa

Very comfortable. Very clean. Andre the host was great with communication and he popped to see if we were ok and settled. 10 mins stroll into the beautiful village of Roquebrun. All in all a great holiday. My only niggle was that the oven does not get up to temperature to cook anything! Sorry Andre, but it does need sorting.

Excellent family villa

Amazing time at the villa. Very clean and tidy with everything we needed. Lovely space for 2 families to share. Great location in walking distance to shops and restaurants. Well maintained pool. Great communication with host who was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the local attractions.

Wat een heerlijk huis

Wij verbleven 3 weken in dit fantastische huis. Goede bedden overal, handig om te weten welke maten het zijn ivm meenemen beddengoed. Op het terras heb je een geweldig uitzicht op de bergen en het stadje. Bij het zwembad genoeg ligbedden en ruimte. De keuken is compleet ingericht met genoeg servies, grote bijkeuken en garage. Tip: scherpe messen en evt een hapjespan/wok. In het stadje is een mini-supermarkt, bakker en diverse restaurantjes op 8-10 minuten loopafstand. Al met al, een heerlijke plek om te vertoeven.

Wunderschöne Tage in der Villa Mimosa/Roquebrun

Wir (3 Personen) haben14 tolle Tage in der Villa Mimosa verbracht. Das Haus ist sauber und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Alles, was man braucht, ist vorhanden. Der Pool war sauber und wurde auch während unserer Anwesenheit gereinigt. Der sehr freundliche Vermieter (André Verheggen) war anwesend - und stets erreichbar -und gab uns tolle Tipps für Ausflüge in die nähere Umgebung. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt und wir können die Villa Mimosa vorbehaltslos empfehlen.

Prachtige vakantie gehad.

Een prachtig vakantiehuis in een al even prachtige omgeving. De gastheer was heel vriendelijk en gaf heel goede tips voor ons gezelschap. We hebben van elk moment genoten en kunnen iedereen dezelfde ervaring aanbevelen. Hopelijk wordt de echt wel uitzonderlijke zomerhitte in Zuid Frankrijk geen jaarlijks terugkerend fenomeen, want als het buiten´s avonds nog bijna 40 graden is, is het wel moeilijk slapen binnen in slaapruimtes zonder airco.

Geweldig huis!

Goed uitgerust en mooi vakantiehuis. Veel plek voor iedereen en een heerlijk zwembad. Keuken uitstekend uitgerust, het enige dat ik kan opmerken zijn de koksmessen; die mogen wel eens geslepen worden. Maar verder echt goed!

Wonderful location, lovely house

The house was perfect for the 6 of us, we even made use of the pool briefly. The village us beautiful and was pretty well located for what we wanted to see. However, after booking we were told sheets and towels would not br provide for free, but for €100, which was nowhere mentioned in the listing. We've come to understand that it's common in France to not have these provided as standard, but €100 is very steep for this. Despite that, we had an excellent time and I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Schönes Haus, tolle Lage, schlechte Pflege

Das Haus ist sehr schön und der Vermieter auch sehr nett. Leider wird es nicht besonders gut gepflegt. Diverse Lampen in Küche und Bad waren defekt, der Garten hat schon lange keinen Gärtner gesehen, die Sofas haben kein Leder mehr und sind mit einer nicht mehr so schönen Decke überworfen. Sofakissen waren fleckig und abgewetzte Plastiktischdecken auf den Tischen. Liegenauflagen sahen auch recht schmuddelig aus und an der Decke über dem Esstisch sammelten sich bei Licht immer viele kleine Fliegen, woher auch immer die kamen. Waren deshalb doch am Ende etwas enttäuscht.

Superbe villa !

Une superbe villa tranquille et très bien située (village de Roquebrun très proche), entre mer (Cap d'Agde et Valras plage) et montagnes (parc du Haut Languedoc - de nombreuses randonnées effectuées depuis cette "base"). Belle vue depuis la villa (exposition au top). Un intérieur soigné et très confortable (rien ne manquait), une grande terrasse, une piscine et ses abords très, très, très agréables durant deux semaines de plein soleil (!). En d'autres termes, rien n'a manqué à notre bonheur !!! Nos vifs remerciements à M. V (très attentionné et disponible) et à Mme K. (très gentille et professionnelle (+++++...).
