"Old coaching in so plenty of character. Unfortunately this also meant no lift so a bit of a struggle to upstairs rooms with a heavy suitcase. Staff were all friendly and efficient and the included breakfast offered plenty of variety. I ate dinner in the bar lady night and the lamb was really excellent. ..."

"The hotel reception, outside area, bar and restaurant were all great. The room was clean, the bathroom had been updated and was fine. The windows needed drastic attention, we could not move them due to the state of repair, I assume there is some sort on 'listed building status' but they really need ..."
