"If you need a roof over your head for a few days this is perfect for you. The staff was friendly, the area was quiet. The bedding was clean, the water was hot, and there were no bugs. There is a bit of a funky smell but nothing a bit of fabreeze couldn't tackle."

"We had a wonderful stay at Washington Street Quarters! It was well-appointed, but we especially loved the "small town" character! We were passing through, but this made our stay so much more interesting than a standard hotel room!"

"The pictures do not do justice in this cabin! Absolutely beautiful, clean and breathtaking! Evan was awesome and responded promptly! It's been quite awhile since we've had a family vacation and the memories we made here will definitely last a lifetime! Cannot wait to come back! Southern hospitality at its best!"

"Great weekend getaway as a family! The treehouse is a lot of fun, location is fantastic, and communication with the owners was outstanding! Highly recommend!"

"Enjoyed stay. Would recommend bringing your own charcoal. Charming property, can park 3 cars if needed. We used Hinton as our base to go hiking and explore the area. Lots to do. Comfortable living room. There’s a Kroger nearby for groceries. We had a slight mishap and needed the nearby hospital which turned out to be very friendly and professional. "

"We loved our stay in the cabin! The unique details, charm and beautiful surroundings made this the perfect vacation! The best part of this rental however was our host Amy and her fantastic family! Amy was attentive, gracious and went out of her way to make us feel welcome as did her family! We will definitely stay here again in future! "

"My 2 sisters and I are in our early 70’s. After doing the Bridge Walk we wanted to spend the night somewhere unique and that is exactly what the Skoolies are. Very clean, modern and more spacious than you would expect in a school bus. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well supplied, overall very nice. Only downside for us was outdoor spray showers with no enclosure (we washed off in bathroom sink). But would definitely stay again if occasion arises! Big thank you to Omar and Julie! "

"I cannot recommend this home enough. I spent a fantastic long weekend here escaping the city fireworks with my dog. We enjoyed the early morning walks and bird watching and relaxing by the river in the afternoon. The house is clean and spacious and the kitchen had everything I needed. I was so sad to leave, and would love to return in the future. The George Washington National Forest is stunning, and this home is the perfect way to experience all of its beauty. "

"The BIG house is indeed spacious and was extremely clean! We enjoyed grilling and sitting out on the upper and lower deck/patio. The river view is calm and serene! Although the owners are very transparent about the train noise (…it was indeed loud and numerous!), I wish there was more transparency with the proximity to the General Store, which includes a gas station. The lot is one and the same—with reserved spaces for guests closest to the house. That being said, the communication with the...

"Everything was as pictured! The bus location is closer to the other bus than imagined, but no one was occupying the space. This was a home away from home in a secluded area. It was a nice hilly drive to get to the property. We didnt have starter wood for the fire and within 15 minutes someone came by on 4 wheelers and delivered some! The stay did not disappoint. If I could stay for a month I would. Bring bug repellant! "
