Spanning approximately 110 sqm across three levels, this private medieval building combines original architectural character with carefully selected modern comforts, creating a distinctive Roman home for families and groups of friends.

Located along a quiet pedestrian street, the property features original stone portals, wooden beams, stone fireplaces, historic terracotta flooring, and traditional stairs. It was purchased and renovated in July 2025 with attention to functionality and comfort while respecting the original structure. The result is a private residence where the history of the building remains at the centre of the experience while modern amenities provide convenience throughout your stay.

The three-level layout naturally separates the sleeping and living areas, offering guests additional privacy. The ground floor contains the master suite, the first floor is dedicated to the main living area and kitchen, and the second floor features the property's romantic attic bedroom.

GROUND FLOOR — MASTER SUITE

The ground floor features a large double bedroom furnished with a blend of timeless character and modern touches. The room includes a Smart TV, air conditioning, and an original stone fireplace that adds warmth and historic character.

The master suite has its own en-suite bathroom equipped with a bidet, toilet, and shower, providing guests with a private and convenient bathroom directly connected to the bedroom.

FIRST FLOOR — LIVING ROOM & KITCHEN

The first floor is the main shared living area of the home. The spacious living room features another original stone fireplace, a Smart TV, and air conditioning.

The room's authenticity is enhanced by its original 16th-century terracotta floor, creating a strong connection to the historic character of the building.

An equipped kitchen is located on the same floor, providing a practical space for preparing meals. The living room also includes a double sofa bed with a comfortable mattress, providing an additional sleeping arrangement for a fifth guest.

The large bathroom on this floor includes a bidet, toilet, large shower, and washing machine.

SECOND FLOOR — ROMANTIC ALCOVE

The second floor contains the second bedroom, a charming and intimate space beneath an attic roof. The room features air conditioning and an open sink, along with its own small bathroom equipped with a toilet and shower.

Its position on the upper level gives this bedroom a more secluded atmosphere, while the private bathroom provides convenient access to facilities without needing to descend to another floor.

BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS

The home has two double bedrooms positioned on separate floors, providing additional privacy for families and groups.

The ground-floor master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a bidet, toilet, and shower. The second bedroom has a small private bathroom with a toilet and shower. A third, larger bathroom is located on the first floor and includes a bidet, toilet, large shower, and washing machine.

The living room's double sofa bed provides an additional sleeping option for a fifth guest.

Dormo da Lisa offers a rare combination of historic Roman character and contemporary functionality. Original stone portals, wooden beams, fireplaces, and 16th-century terracotta flooring have been preserved as part of the building's identity.

The July 2025 renovation respected the original structure while introducing modern comforts. The master bedroom, living room, and second bedroom are equipped with air conditioning, while Smart TVs are available in the master bedroom and living room.

The equipped kitchen provides everything needed for preparing meals, and the washing machine adds practical convenience, particularly for longer stays.

The property is located in the Monti district, along a quiet pedestrian street in central Rome. The Colosseum is just a short walk away, while Cavour Metro is also nearby, making it convenient to explore other parts of the city.

Its location allows guests to enjoy the atmosphere of one of Rome's historic neighbourhoods while remaining close to major sights and public transportation. After a day exploring the city, guests can return to the privacy and character of their own independent historic home.

GUEST ACCESS

The building is rented exclusively as an entire property. Guests have private access to the complete building and all spaces shown in the photographs, including both bedrooms, the living room, equipped kitchen, and all three bathrooms.

Individual room rentals are not permitted, ensuring that guests booking the property can enjoy the entire home privately throughout their stay.

STAIRS & ACCESSIBILITY

The three floors are connected by original stairs, which are shown in the property photographs. There is no elevator, and guests must use the stairs to move between the different levels.

Due to the multi-level layout and stairs, Dormo da Lisa is not suitable for people with mobility issues.
