About The Addison Exuma - Harts, Exuma
The Addison is a luxury beachfront home with a Baja shelf pool and expansive patio/deck completed in early 2023. The Addison is located in West Exuma on Flamingo Bay. It sits along 2 miles of white sandy beach with stunning views of the crystal clear turquoise waters. It is conveniently located just 6 miles from the international airport, 1 mile from Emerald Bay, and about 20 minutes from Georgetown the Capital of Exuma.

This spacious 5 bedroom, 4.5 bath oasis is the perfect getaway for 5 couples or a big family. Four bedrooms include king beds with en-suite bathrooms and one bedroom includes (2) full-size beds with a twin trundle. All beds feature brand-new top-quality mattresses and plush linens.

The villa features an outstanding outdoor living space with a pool overlooking the ocean and soft outdoor seating. A gas grill and large dining table are great for entertaining. Right on the beach, it is the perfect spot to watch the sunset and get up early to watch the sunrise.

With well-appointed rooms and an open floor plan, this house is ideal for families and groups to enjoy time together. The large modern kitchen features new countertops, stainless steel appliances with a full-size refrigerator/freezer, a separate ice maker, a beverage refrigerator, an oven, a microwave, dishwasher, and an induction cooktop. The kitchen is fully equipped with toaster, coffee maker, Keurig machine, air fryer and a Vita-Mix blender for your drinks!

We can also refer you to a local Bahamian chef who will prepare a great Bahamian meal right in our kitchen. If pampering is on your vacation to-do list, we can bring in a masseuse! You can grocery shop yourself or request our house manager to shop for you - so you have some groceries when you arrive.

At The Addison, you are literally 50 feet from the beach. Once you walk past the sparkling clear pool you are on the sand! Daily beach walks are a must! Other amenities include:
- A Peloton bike (to burn off those Goombay Smash calories). We have clip-in pedals as well as harness pedals.

How to get to The Addison:
The Addison is located in Harts, Great Exuma. It is about a 6-mile drive from the Georgetown International Airport. Upon leaving the airport turn left at the first roundabout onto Queen’s Highway. Travel for approximately 6 miles. You will pass through (3) more roundabouts (Sandals & Grand Isle Resort & Marina). After passing Grand Isle you will travel about 1 mile until you see the sign for Harts. Once you see the sign for Harts continues on Queen’s Highway for another 1.2 miles. The Addison will be on the beach side. Look for the large white 2-car garage with blue garage doors. If you get to Big D’s Conch Bar & Grill, you went too far.

The Addison house in Exuma is a piece of heaven on earth. Since we booked Ed made us feel welcomed and responded quickly to all our questions. The house was very clean, had everything we needed, and Shane, who welcomed us and gave us an orientation, was very helpful all the time. The view is beautiful and the beach is great for walking. Every one in our family enjoyed every day there and now they all want to go back. Thanks Ed for all your kind attention and care for us. The Addison is now part a treasured memory of our 50 anniversary.

We've made many trips to the Bahamas across various islands, this is tops. Exuma is tops and the beachfront home and experience that Ed has built only adds to it. You will not go wrong selecting this home as your getaway. Beautiful space, thoughtfully and fully equipped, nothing spared. Great onsite support from Shane as needed and expect to get a list of all of the local attractions and people to meet. 10 out of 10!

Our stay at The Addison was amazing in every way - from the moment we walked in the front door and were blown away by the view, to the courtesy of a later check out when our flights were delayed. The owner was incredibly helpful and generous - sharing great recommendations for markets, outings and restaurants. The property manager was responsive and nearby in case anything was needed (it wasn’t). The house was new and well-appointed - very well set up for our extended family. All told, a remarkable trip that we hope to repeat!

Our group of 5 had the most memorable stay at The Addison. From the moment I booked it our host Ed was in contact and was so helpful with recommendations and extremely accommodating. The attention to detail is unbelievable. The house is so well stocked. There are are yetis,coolers,beach bags,pool toys and too many other things to list. The house is located close to the best restaurants and sits on a beautiful beach. The pictures don’t do it justice. I will definitely be back!

Our stay in the Addison was amazing. The setting—beach, pool, deck, home—were all u real. The beach was beautiful, water was everything you’d expect in Exuma or any of the Family islands. The home was perfectly appointed, and included everything from plenty of beach towels to a yeti cooler to cups and all that you’d need to cook a fantastic meal. The owner was amazing. He shared details in advance, checked in throughout our trip, and prior to leaving. Any question we had about a potential excursion, restaurant etc, he was able to answer. We will definitely be going back

The house was perfect. Rooms are big, bathrooms were beautiful, and the kitchen is where everyone came together as usual so the giant island was clutch. We brought games but there is a big tv console with all the games you could want. The house had all of the beach/pool accessories we needed. Location was great with easy access to the north docks yet close to all of the restaurants. Little ones enjoyed the pool, big ones enjoyed the beach. The beach is quiet and very walkable. The variety of fish about 100 yds off the beach while snorkeling rivaled what we saw on our dive days. The teens loved taking the paddle boards out. The house owner was engaged and responsive before and during our trip, as was the house manager. We wouldn’t hesitate to rent again!

Our family of four had the most unforgettable spring break at The Addison, and we are already dreaming about coming back! This home is absolutely stunning—from the moment you arrive, you're greeted with jaw-dropping views of crystal-clear turquoise water and a wide stretch of white sand beach that feels like your own private paradise.The house itself is incredibly well-appointed. You really don’t need to pack much more than a swimsuit and a t-shirt—everything you could possibly need is already here! Beach towels, paddle boards, fully stocked kitchen (with spices and every utensil imaginable), games, Yeti cooler, even an amazing ice maker that became our favorite surprise amenity.The layout was perfect for our family, with spacious bedrooms, top-notch linens, and a kitchen that made it easy to prepare meals or just hang out and snack with a view. The outdoor space is next-level—lounging by the pool, grilling, or enjoying morning coffee as the sun rises over the water was pure bliss.Location-wise, The Addison can’t be beat. It’s close to great restaurants, beaches, and fun things to do—from Jeep rentals to boat tours—and yet it still feels secluded and peaceful with no neighbors on either side.Our host went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for an amazing vacation. They offered incredible recommendations for local spots, grocery stores, boat rentals, restaurants—you name it. It truly felt like we had a personal concierge!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful home! The house is impeccably designed—comfortable, spacious, and stocked with everything you could possibly need. The kitchen, in particular, was a dream to cook in—extremely well-equipped with high-quality appliances and every utensil imaginable.The service provided by Sonia and Shane was top-notch. They were super responsive, always right on time, and made our stay seamless by handling our pre-arrival grocery order perfectly and keeping the house spotless with daily cleaning. Their attention to detail truly elevated our experience.The beach was quiet and offered plenty of privacy, making it the perfect place to relax. Plus, getting to and from the airport was incredibly easy, adding to the convenience of our stay.Finally, the owner was fantastic—responsive, helpful, and always available to answer any questions. This house a a dream! We’ve stayed in Exuma several times and never had a house as accommodating as The Addison House! The house came fully stocked with beach towels, sunscreens, speaker, ice chests, custom yeti cups, multiple phone chargers, full size shampoo/conditioner, everything you could think of. The house absolutely stunning and looks like something out of a Pottery Barn magazine, the views are truly some of the best in Exuma being right on the beach! It was also so nice to have a heated pool especially with a chilly afternoon! We enjoyed grilling by the pool and walking down the beach to the beach bar and restaurant! During the day we enjoyed snorkeling the reef just off the shore! There was plenty of snorkel equipment at the house as well! The house was an easy drive into town for anything you need! The property manager was very nice and easy to get in touch with if we needed anything at all! Could not recommend enough!!

Traveled to Exuma for the 2nd time and chose The Addison. So happy with our decision! We had a group of 2 families: 4 adults and 4 kids ranging from 14 to 10. The home is beautiful and the pictures do not do it justice. The layout of the home is perfect for families traveling with children and comfortably sleeps 10 adults. Everyone had plenty of space to relax and more than enough privacy. The home was clean and extremely well stocked. The beach is literally steps away from the back deck and the view is pristine! The hosts were absolutely amazing in every way. Best vacation rental experience We have ever had. They gave us recommendations for a local chef who cooked 3 wonderful dinners for us during our stay. They were also able to arrange a grocery delivery for us since we arrived after 8 PM on a Saturday and the grocery stores were closed. The house is a couple of miles away from Cocoplum Beach which is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. I can’t say enough good things about The Addison and the hosts. If you are looking for a family friendly vacation home for your time in Exuma do not hesitate to book The Addison. You will not be disappointed!!

Our family of three, including our ten-year-old daughter, had an unforgettable stay at this incredible property in Exuma. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views, amenities, and impeccable hospitality. The home itself is spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and well-appointed with everything you could need for a relaxing getaway. Th e house manager stocked the kitchen before we arrived, which made preparing meals—especially with dietary restrictions like being gluten-free and vegan—a breeze. It truly felt like a home away from home. The location is unbeatable. We spent our days lounging on the beautiful beach, swimming in the crystal-clear waters, and exploring the island’s hidden gems. The sunrises and sunsets here are nothing short of magical. What set this property apart, though, was the care and attention from the hosts. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had all the local tips to make the most of our stay. If you’re looking for a peaceful, luxurious, and family-friendly retreat in Exuma, I cannot recommend this property enough. We already can’t wait to return!

Our stay at the Addison was perfect! Ed is a wonderful host, and has truly thought of everything when it comes to comforts in the home. The place was as beautiful as the view of surrounding nature, and it is conveniently located near local beaches, restaurants, and grocery stores. The locals are extremely friendly and kind, and the property manager, Shane, was no exception; he was also very responsive. Ed was very invested in ensuring that we had a great time, and communicated with us throughout the trip. Definitely the best VRBO experience we've ever had.

To start, Ed is an exceptional host- having him is like having a dedicated vacation concierge! Even before our trip, he provided numerous suggestions to enhance our experience. The house is pristine! It has every amenity you could imagine, all equipped with the latest technology. The kitchen is generously stocked and the layout is stunning, featuring two master suites with views of the gorgeous blue water, just steps to the beach. This is one of the few times I can say that the place and beach were even more fabulous in person than the pictures! It was larger than we expected as well and incredibly comfortable for our group of 5 adults. We stayed for a long weekend at the Addison that was unexpectedly extended by airline delays and Ed was incredibly gracious about us extending our stay and making sure we were comfortable and having fun. Some of the things I think were above and beyond for comfort included the individual A/C Units in each room, shampoo/conditioner and body wash in each bathroom, the super comfortable large couch, a fully stocked kitchen including spices (this group loves to cook), games, beach chairs and towels, floats, and even a stash of bug spray and sunscreen. It truly felt like a home away from home. The only thing I would consider doing different next time is renting a car to go to the grocery and spirits stores. I hope to come back to this house, the sweet island dogs and beautiful island soon!

We stayed at the Addison with another family, and couldn't have asked for a better home for our group. The layout was perfect for 2 families, and you couldn't ask for a better location! Every detail of the home was perfect for us, and all of the photos in the listing were accurate. Ed was a fantastic host and was very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions or anything we needed! He can also make a few suggestions for chef services at the house which I would highly recommend. We chose Chef Paul, and the meals he prepared for us were the best we had on the entire trip! Overall, an amazing stay, and would go back in a heatbeat!

We had a wonderful experience at the Addison! From the beginning, Ed was fantastic with information on our booking and answering questions on our stay. The house is stunning and incredibly clean. We had had four families including five children on this trip and had plenty of room for everyone! The house is fully stocked with everything you need and Ed has incredible recommendations from chefs, restaurants, grocery stores and excursions. All of the locals on the island know and speak highly of Ed. The property manager, Shane, was responsive and helpful with any questions we had upon arrival. To say that our stay at the Addison was amazing would be a severe understatement. This home and the location are impossible to beat. Starting with Ed the owner you are completely taken care of. He answered our myriad of questions promptly, provided us with advice & reccomendations, and messaged us checking in on how we were doing during the stay. You won’t find a better owner/host than Ed. The house is amazing. It has every luxury amenity you could possibly dream of. And toys galore to boot. Our family loved using the 2 paddle boards and floats daily. The kitchen was amazing and we used it for many meals. The entire house is literally better than any 5 star resort. The location is phenomenal. You’re set right on the water of an amazing bay with the calmest bluest water you will ever see. We loved lounging in the water, snorkeling, and then heading back up to the private pool at the house to swim also. 5 stars is really not fair for this home. You WILL NOT find a better home or owner. We can’t wait for our next trip back. The only negative is that the trip had to end!

First of all, I can not say enough about our experience at the Addison. Ed was great from the moment we booked until the time we checked out. The local property manager, Shane, was also wonderful. He stopped by as soon as we checked in and gave us a warm welcome, along with some recommended activities and local spots to visit. This was a family vacation for us, with ages ranging from 10 to 75. Everyone had a great time. The house has everything you need, with enough room for everyone to be comfortable. We spent much of our time on the deck or the beach, which were also perfect.
