West Studio – Vineyard Room Château Barbebelle

Charming 35 m² studio located in one wing of the Château, a beautiful early 17th-century building nestled among the vineyards of the Aix-en-Provence hills, on the road to the Luberon.

Wake up to beautiful views of the vineyards and our horses, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the countryside in a unique setting combining authentic Provençal charm with modern comfort.

Upon entering:

Sleeping area separated by an open wall:

Double bed (160 cm).
Armchair and small TV.
Please note that the accommodation does not have a baby travel cot.

Kitchen and dining area separated by another open wall:

Fully equipped kitchenette with electric hob, small refrigerator, combination microwave oven, and Dolce Gusto coffee machine.
Dining area with table and two chairs.

Bathroom:

Shower room.
Separate toilet.

Amenities:

Free Wi-Fi.
Household linen provided: sheets, towels, bath mat, and tea towels.
Fan. Please note that there is no air conditioning.

Welcome kit (not replenished):

Laundry detergent and household cleaning products.
Two rolls of toilet paper and shower gel.
Sugar, tea, and coffee (one serving per guest).
Olive oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper.

Outdoor / Shared areas:

Shared garden with outdoor table and chairs overlooking the vineyards.
Shared pétanque court (boules provided).
Free on-site parking.
Semi-detached studio with complete privacy (no direct overlooking).

Practical information:

The studio is located on the first floor, accessible by stairs only.

You will have access to a shared garden with outdoor furniture offering beautiful views of the vineyards and horses, as well as a shared pétanque court, with boules provided.

Enjoy lovely walks through vineyards and woodland along a marked trail. Please note that the private wine estate is not open for unrestricted access or walking.

During your stay at this exceptional wine estate, you can visit the Château Barbebelle winery, take part in a wine tasting, and enjoy the beautiful surrounding landscapes.

We will be delighted to welcome you and share our recommendations for discovering authentic Provence: traditional markets, the hilltop villages of the Luberon, local festivals, and, of course, the region's outstanding gastronomy and wines.

Self check-in is available.

Check-in: from 5:00 PM.
Check-out: before 10:00 AM.

For any request for early or late check-in/check-out, please contact us no later than 6:00 PM on the day before your arrival. Requests are subject to availability.

Early check-in at 12:00 PM: €25.
Early check-in at 1:00 PM: €20.
Late check-out until 12:00 PM: €25.

Parties & Quiet Hours
Parties and events are not permitted.

Please respect the neighbors and the peaceful atmosphere of the estate. The owners live on the property.

Children’s Safety
Children of all ages are welcome.

Please note:

The house has stairs, and it is not possible to install a safety gate.
Two fountains are located a few meters from the entrance to the estate. Although they are shallow, children remain under the sole responsibility of their parents or guardians.
Please supervise your children at all times during your stay.

A Working Wine Estate
You will be staying in the heart of a genuine working vineyard. The surroundings are generally peaceful and ideal for relaxation. However, as with any agricultural estate, you may occasionally see tractors, machinery, or vehicles used for vineyard operations. This is part of the charm and authenticity of the property.

The Estate’s Animals
The property is also home to:

Three friendly dogs that you may occasionally meet with their owners.
Chickens, ponies, and horses, all kept in their own private areas.

Approximately 15 minutes away by car, you will find a freshwater swimming area with paid access, ideal for family outings.

The village of Rognes is famous for its golden stone, Provençal market, and pleasant walking trails.
