  • Welcome to our newly built, clean, comfortable, and private home, located in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. We recently added a fully furnished kitchen (new for 2026), featuring brand-new, energy-efficient appliances to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

    Our home is conveniently located just a 5-minute drive from Camden, Maine, where you can enjoy shopping, local restaurants, waterfront parks, and charming downtown streets. It's also close to Camden Hills State Park, the ocean, and grocery stores.

    Rockland is only a 10-minute drive away and is home to the famous Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse, beautiful waterfront views, museums, and additional shopping and dining options.

    If you enjoy the outdoors, you'll find numerous nearby hiking and walking trails, including Beech Hill Preserve, George's Highland Path, Rockland Harbor Trail, and many more. Lincolnville Beach, the Islesboro Ferry, and several excellent restaurants are just a 15-minute drive away.

    You'll be staying in our private mother-in-law suite located on the lower level of the house. The suite includes a private entrance, a comfortable living room, one bedroom, a full bathroom with a shower, and a washer and dryer for your convenience. The newly added kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for preparing meals during your stay.

    Whether you're visiting to relax, explore the Midcoast Maine area, or enjoy the outdoors, you'll have a comfortable and private space where you'll truly feel at home.

The place was well maintained and perfect for our needs. It is close to all the places we wanted to visit - Portland, Portland Museum, Camden and Camden hills state park, Bangor, Acadia NP and more. We would highly recommend this VRBO!

Clean, specious and convenient location. Loved having the full kitchen. Asked about a grill prior to arrival and what looked to be a brand new grill was made available to us which was greatly appreciated. Bed was comfortable and the space stayed cool in the summer heat. Would definitely stay here again.

Rusty was an exceptional host at their place in Rockport. Communicative, responsive, and even accommodated an early check-in. The place was clean, matched the listing accurately, and the location was excellent. No complaints—would stay again.

For what we required this was an excellent place to stay. We are active during the day and had a safe, quiet and clean space for the night. Easy to get to Camden the lighthouses. Communication was excellent. We would definitely recommend and would stay at the location again. Thank you to arusty and Roweana for a very pleasant experience.

We picked this private suite because it was not too far from Camden. We enjoyed how quiet it was. There is plenty of room. The living room is big, the bedroom has a very comfortable bed. The shower is big and relaxing. We used the washer and drier as we had been on the road for several days. If guests wanted to cook, there is an electric stove, a microwave, a big refrigerator in the small kitchen + a grill outside on the patio. There is a diner 3 miles down the road. It serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. All in all, we had a positive experience.

A sweet quiet retreat

Rusty and Rowena have created a beautiful hideaway so near Camden and Rockport! It is located 1 mile from the Rockport diner ( yummy)! The apartment was furnished nicely and anything we needed was there. Highly recommend staying here!

Owners were very responsive and friendly. The home was very convenient to coastal cities, very comfortable bed and cozy living room. The kitchen has the basics and a small amount of cooking could be done. We were pleased with our stay

I enjoyed my stay in this cozy nicely decorated rental. Quiet neighborhood, easy access to Knox County attractions. The kitchen is rather small and cramped, however.
