"Our stay was for 3 nights in early July. The cabin was accurately depicted in the on-line description, describing a very quiet, peaceful, remote and relaxing and wooded ambience "like a secret trail, dipping and climbing over rolling hills to your own private escape". The perfect environment, we thought, to spend a few days during my recuperation from a recent illness. To our very surprise, the first two days and nights of our stay were shattered by the continuous explosion of fireworks set off...

"Place is simple and cheap, could use some upkeep on building, door sticks and the water spigot for the sink drips and being held with duct tape. No bathroom just a portapotty to use. And watch out for the mice.
It's a beautiful location on the west fork of the kickapoo River with access to the River."
