"The house and property were a perfect combination of relaxing and beauty. We walked the trails, our dog enjoyed the open field and our group had a marvelous stay. If you want to enjoy peace and quiet away from the city this property is great. It does need some outside sprucing up and some deep cleaning however, it did not affect our stay."

"If you're looking for a place just to sleep and be one with nature this is it! Kinda like glamping. There was mice poop everywhere, it's that time of year, didn't scare us. But their was no forks, towels, napkins, they only provided 1 trash bag we went through in a hurry and had to use grocery bags for garbage. Ran to gas station for forks and paper towels. The oven dorsnt wirk, so took 4 hours tobake a 20min bitter braid. Other than thst a good place to rough it and relax"

"Great location to see around downtown LaCrosse. Bar next door kinda noisy til 2am but quiet otherwise. Love the industrial vibe with the decor. Would probably stay again! "

"Ive been going up to Stoddard for over 20 years what a beautiful house with amazing views."

"Had a nice relaxing weekend in nature. The property overlooks a bubbling stream so the scenery was amazing!My only downside was that I had hoped it was a bit more remote/private, but there are other cabins not far away (maybe 200-ish feet?) Not a biggie if you don't mind the company though. :)Regardless; wonderful stay! Host made things simple/left instruction that were clear/easy to follow. "Home was very clean and host was very responsive to questions we had. Would recommend!"

"Property was very clean and beds were comfortable. Views were incredible. Little bit of odd layout - there is no separate door to primary bathroom and the shower is very tiny in there- think cruise ship small. Soaps, shampoo and conditioner were provided. Very large jetted tub, but didn’t see a plug for that, so think it is not useable. Good location- less than 15 minutes to downtown La Crosse and very quiet neighborhood."

"We stayed here over UWL graduation weekend. I choose this as it was close to everything, on the river, and we did not have to share space with anyone. The place was very clean and super cute inside. The owner gave me easy instructions and was easily available by phone when I needed to call. I would highly recommend this place!!"

"We loved our time at this cabin!! Perfect for our needs and very well kept and great layout! Only critique... we wanted to flip our pancakes, but the kitchen was missing a spatula and this time of year it's tough to battle nature, but a few less ladybugs inside would have been perfect."

"Three of us used this cabin as home base for a fly fishing trip to the Driftless. It was perfect for what we needed. Great location within easy reach of several of the premier trout streams. "This cabin was clean and comfortable. It’s situated in a peaceful little meadow, and is a great place to relax and watch wildlife. My husband and grandson had great success trout fishing in Bishop Branch Creek which runs right along the property. It’s very close to Viroqua which is a nice little town with restaurants and shopping. We really enjoyed our stay. We hope to return!"
