"We chose Rockford b/c it was relatively central to all of our residents. While there weren’t many eat-in restaurants, we were able to do some carry-out and brought things with us. Snooze above Brews met our needs for a quick girls weekend away. "

"The house is adorable and very clean! We enjoyed our stay even if weather wasn’t the greatest! The lake is beautiful! Our host was so great and very easy to reach if needed! I recommend this one! And maybe we will get back one day too! "

"This lake front home was perfect for our family. The outdoor area was amazing, and the views, especially the sunset were breathtaking. Caught plenty of fish from the dock. The pool was great, heated too!"

"We stayed for a long weekend. Less than 10 minutes walk to the lake, so much to do around the neighborhood, right across from a coffee shop. The apartment was clean, beautiful, has a small balcony, and all the cooking essentials in the kitchen if you want to cook. I’d stay here again!"

"We had a super easy check-in process. And the bedrooms were great for our family. Love the little sitting room that faced the street. Street parking for us, our truck was too big for the driveway or garage. Super responsive with any questions we had. Will definitely look into using them again when we come back to the area!"

"Charlies Place is a super clean, lovely little home across the street from a private little beach. We kayak, so to be able to walk across the street to put in was a bonus. Bren is very communicative host and provides plenty of towels and kitchen supplies. There is a washer and dryer available as well. The neighborhood is quiet and neighbors are friendly as well! Will for sure book Charlies Place in the future."

"We 5 longtime girlfriends (from our college days in the 1960s) used this pastoral setting to meet for 4 days on our annual reunion. It was as near perfection as we could have hoped for. The Daniels family was most hospitable and responded quickly to questions, requests, etc. it was an extremely enjoyable short week - highly recommend if you want peace & serenity.Miriam, Janet, Helen, Nancy, & Louise"

"This is seriously the cutest little house! So clean and had everything we needed!"

"Stayed 2 nights for my sisters funeral. Plenty of room for my 3 kids, their spouses and my 2 grandchildren. Grandkids and others enjoyed the pool, hot tub and the gym allowed the 10 & 8 year old to wear off energy unused in the 1.5 hour here. The rooms were many and spacious. Nearly every amenity we needed. "

"Property was as stated in the ad. Nice place."

"The house is decent , nothing fancy. Refrigerator was very loud with a knocking noise The back yard was good for kids, didnt let my small dog off leach as ther were some bent fence planks and gaps. Close restaurant called Lakeside hideout has yummy pizza "

"We were in town for 1 night to visit family and the home was perfect. We are very picky when it comes to cleanliness and it was immaculate. Great view of the golf course but you’re not in line of fire from a bad shot based on the position of the green and T-box. The view of the lake is nice too. "

"This cabin was perfect for hosting family from out of state and a great place for kids and adults alike! The pool and campfires were the biggest hits...but also appreciated the space in the garage to play and theatre to watch a movie when it rained. Great place...would love to book again!"

Everything we needed was available, and we felt right at home. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a comfortable and stress-free stay. Would definitely book again!"

"The house is clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable, but quite small with some maintenance issues (like a broken shower door handle and limited outlets in the master bedroom). The bathrooms are tight and the washer/dryer are outdated.More importantly, key rules were only shared after booking, including strict limits on guests (max 6), cars (2), and noise—along with a no-music and no-pool-party policy. We were surprised by no pool or beach towels, and felt the restrictions made it difficult to...
