Beautiful area and surroundings, numerous close accesses to the river, many excursions available in nearby Lexington and the house had all the possible amenities we needed. The hosts were extremely attentive to our every need."

"We just pulled back in our driveway after an amazing 2 days at this little slice of just absolute bliss. Cabins were new, the bed was comfy and nothing beats walking barefoot through the stream or sitting around the fire pit. Gorgeous views when the sun burns through the fog in the mornings too. We're definitely coming back! We were there with two other couples and you wouldn't even have known. The pollinator garden was a nice touch too. hank you! "

"We loved Love Ridge Mountain Lodge, we stayed at the Kennedy Ridge! It was clean and well kept! Communication was great with the owners and everything is available in the home! Very peaceful and relaxing! We even met Chester! The property cat, she is loving and hung out with us for a bit! Awesome experience, if you are visiting or from Virginia we recommend the lodge! "

"Beautiful home full of charm and character. Easy, check-in. Comfortable temperature inside, despite the heat outside. SUPER comfortable bed (neither fluffy nor firm). The towels smell wonderful (just fresh, not perfumy) :)Quiet, lovely, neighborhood; just 1 block from downtown shops and restaurants etc- easily walkable. If you’re a coffee person, you may love that there’s a French press (in addition to the keurig and drip coffee maker). "

"This was our fourth trip to the river house. This time we went to celebrate my granddaughter who turned 13 and my daughter who turned 30. It was a wonderful week full of fun, adventure, hiking, swimming/playing in the river, s’mores, food and games. This is the absolute best place in the world for quality family time. This place really feels like home. 🥰"

Far enough away from downtown Staunton that you felt like you were in the country but close enough to get to the theater in less than ten minutes."

"Such a lovely stay!I had the best time at the Whimsical Creekside Cabin. The place is super cozy and peaceful—just what I needed to unwind. The sound of the creek, the comfy setup, and all the little thoughtful touches made it feel really special. It was clean, charming, and felt like a little hidden gem in nature."

"This was a very unique property in the woods. It was very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna immensely. We ate at Gerties, we t horseback riding, and went hiking. We loved it and will definitely be back. "

"Gorgeous, peaceful setting in the middle of nowhere, which is exactly what we were looking for. We wanted to get away from it all, and Maria and Randy provided that opportunity. The house has been renovated beautifully, and someone has some great taste! I love all the green tones, wood, brick, and...oh, the velvet!Although the house is wonderful, including a full-stocked, high-end kitchen, I admit that I most sitting by the river and playing Frisbee with my family, as well as my solo strolls...

"Very clean and well appointed with a LOT of extras that made our stay easy and enjoyable. Close to excellent hiking trails. It was a big plus that pets were welcomed as we brought our 2 beagles who had a great time too!"
