  • Escape to Apiary Cottage, a peaceful 3-bedroom, 3-bath retreat set on more than five private acres in Virginia`s scenic countryside. Conveniently located just 15 minutes from the Virginia Horse Center and 20 minutes from downtown Lexington, Washington & Lee University, and VMI, it`s an ideal home base for equestrian events, family visits, and relaxing getaways. Enjoy tranquil views, a fire pit, a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living areas, and ample parking, including space for horse trailers.
    Help us ensure that all our guests arrive to a clean and inviting space by adhering to our guest guidelines!

    - The booking party must be 25 years of age or older and present during the entire stay.
    - Please remove your shoes inside.
    - There is no smoking allowed anywhere on the property.
    - Pets are permitted with pet fee.
    - All overnight guests must be registered with your reservation.
    - Parties are not permitted. Please limit unregistered house guests to five additional people.
    - Please be respectful of our neighbors by keeping your noise level low, especially after 10pm.
    - When leaving the house, please turn off lights to conserve energy.
    - If an item is broken or damaged, please let us know so we can repair or replace it.
    - Please be respectful of the space and treat it with care. We want to ensure that all our guests arrive to a clean, happy, and inviting space!

Very pretty rental in countryside, was 20 min to Washington and Lee where our twins were touring, every much enjoyed the house!

The house is beautiful, very clean, and had plenty of amenities. The host quickly responded to my questions. We would definitely stay there again!

The property is a relatively new listing and we were a bit apprehensive because there wasn’t a lot of reviews but all in all we were very happy with the house. It’s a three bedroom and every bedroom has its own bath. The house was very clean and minimalistic without extra clutter. The beds were comfortable the bathrooms were perfect. There were deer on the property on several mornings and you have a feeling of seclusion even though you’re pretty close to civilization. If I were to nitpick, I would say some of the light switches didn’t quite make sense but we figured it out pretty quickly. We would stay here again.
