"Lovely staff, friendly people. Huge carpark, reasonably priced bar. Comfy bed, loads of hot water and an actual bath! Close to town but lots of green around the hotel. Always first choice to stay here when we're visiting family in Boro"

"Pretty basic stuff here but cheap and cheerful."

"Nice room and straightforward checking in. Good value if you are on a budget. Small bedroom and bathroom but good well equipped shared kitchen with all facilities including washing machine with line and pegs outside if needed."

"Check in supposed to be 4pm and still trying to contact landlord at 4.30pm to gain access. Smoke detector off wall and sat on stairs, leaky radiator with a glass under to catch drips, damaged flooring. Dirty throughout. Not good."

"This place needs shutting down. How it has passed all health & safety measures is beyond me. Nothing like the pictures. The chairs in dinning area where thick with food, feet sticking to the floor. Got to the room & it was disgustingly dirty. Bedding didn’t fit the beds & cig holes in them. The bed frame was snapped with screws sticking out. Spoon burns in the bathroom. "A beautiful room, so relaxing. We loved it all. Only shame was that always greeted with empty reception, but didn’t have to wait too long x"

"Very poor quality sofa bed, should be 2 singles for adults or children."

"Very pleasant stay, I have stayed a few times and always very good. On this one-off occasion the draft had stopped working but the staff tried their very best to offer other solutions which were appreciated. Thank you"

"Fabulous staff, beautiful food, fantastic room. Top notch in every way! Can't wait to return ❤️"

"Lovely stay - fast check in, great lunch in the restaurant and an even better breakfast was had. We got a b&b deal through Expedia which included a full continental breakfast for starters and then a hot meal. I had eggs Benedict and my husband had the full English. Very nice setting and outlook. Only downside is that the room gets very hot - had to use the fan all night. And then there were some noisy occupants above us who decided to put tv on around 2am!!"
