"This is the cutest little place, and it served as the perfect NYE getaway from the city noise and lights for me & my dog. They have everything you could need on hand and the close proximity to Lake Le-Aqua-Na State Park was just the cherry on top. The hosts were also very responsive when I had questions, which was very appreciated! I would absolutely rebook in the future. "

"The property is a modernized old farm house. I reiterate its an old farm house and it fits the description perfectly.This property is in the country. That being said, that was the appeal for us in choosing this property. Probably 25 mintues to Galena and 40 to Dubuque. The views are spectacular. Its quiet, actually I expected some early farming activity, but other than cattle feeding which was not loud or disruptive there wasn't any on our visit.
