"Very quirky property and we loved our one night stay. Extremely convenient for public transport (bus and ferry), shopping, dining, sightseeing etc.,. Super bar with LPs and memorabilia plus a robot to serve drinks! Shame the lift wasn’t working. Quite a lot of stairs and I thought it was going to be noisy because they are wooden and it was the end of Cowes week, but we had a very peaceful night. "The owners have clearly made a great effort to make sure this old building gives you a welcoming environment. The room was spacious and clean, the Wi-Fi excellent and secure and the room servicing great. The whole environment was well looked after. If you thought that was good? - I can’t speak highly enough of the staff; reception, bar, breakfast & dinner - all different people but all gave excellent service. I have no problem in returning next time we are on the Island."

"The Prince of Wales is immediately opposite the entrance to Osborne House, which was the purpose of our visit. Also very close to East Cowes ferry terminal. Very helpful and welcoming staff, and a good menu for dinner. Only negative was rather loud live music, but being Saturday night that wasn't too surprising, Overall very happy with this place, and would happily return."
