The space Welcome to our enchanting lakeside chalet, a comfortable and cozy retreat in the heart of the Laurentians. The rustic wood accents and charming decor create a warm and inviting ambiance. The main living area features a wood fireplace, perfect for cozy evenings. The completely equipped kitchen includes modern appliances, ample counter space, and all the necessary cookware for your culinary adventures. After a day of exploring, sink into the plush bedding in one of our two tranquil bedrooms, each with new beds for a restful sleep. Key Features: Two bedrooms and two full bathrooms Unlimited high-speed internet and good mobile reception Roku TV with YouTube and Netflix access Convenient on-site washer and dryer Room-darkening shades for a peaceful rest Step outside to breathe in the fresh mountain air. The highlight of our chalet is the private, year-round hot tub overlooking the picturesque lake. As a waterfront property, you have direct access to the beach and a fire pit with chairs for long evenings spent roasting marshmallows. Guest access Guests will have private and exclusive access to the entire house and all its amenities, including the private hot tub, deck, and waterfront area. Your stay will be completely private as the space is not shared. The only area that is not accessible to guests is the garage. Other things to note * **Lake Access:** The property has direct waterfront access. The water is very shallow near the shore and becomes much deeper further out. We recommend bringing beach sandals. * **Watercraft:** A pedal boat and double kayak with paddles are available in the summer. While some life jackets are on-site, we strongly recommend you bring your own to ensure a proper and safe fit, especially if you plan on using the kayak. * **Amenities:** We provide towels for the hot tub. The tap water is drinkable and supplied by the municipality; please be aware it may have a slight odor at first, which is normal. * **Fishing:** Fishing is permitted on the lake. The cottage was beautiful! Very well kept! We had an absolutely delightful stay at this VRBO but we have a few suggestions that might help make it impeccable for future guests. For a group of 4 adults with a 3 night stay, we’d need a few extra bath and hand towels and rolls of toilet paper. We ended up needing to wash the towels, which is fine but there was no laundry detergent, only fabric softener which doesn’t actually clean anything. Otherwise, everything was amazing! Would definitely go back!

The host is very good at answering messages quickly! The property is clean. Many amenities are provided. But several things could be improved upon: 1) Expedia says the host will send check in instructions three days before arrival but the host only sent them the day before arrival. 2) One message said the address is xx84 (correct) and another message said the address is xx83 (doesn’t exist). 3) The host didn’t proactively provide lock code for the one bedroom doorknob with keypad, and it locked while we were outside the bedroom so we needed to ask for the code. 4) Signs inside say we can’t flush toilet paper down the toilet, but host didn’t provide eno ifh extra garbage bags to hold dirty toilet paper. 5) Hot tub was not prepared for guests to arrive (the temperature was too cold and we waited hours for it to warm up enough). 6) No newspapers or small wood was provided for starting a fire in the wood stove. 7) The mattress in the second bedroom is not flat, you roll into the middle where the mattress dips like a bowl. But the master bedroom's mattress is good. 8) The property listing has a photo of a fooshball table but the access code wasn’t provided. Overall, good experience with a few things that could be improved.

Great location with beautiful views. Watching the water planes take off and land was very cool. The master bed mattress was not useable as you could feel the springs so we used the double bed. I gave this feedback and was thanked and told it would be addressed. The hosts were great, good communication throughout.

Great place

We were a group of 4 people stayed for 4 days and 3 nights and had a wonderful time. When we got there we were given all the information needed before hand with very understanding rules, which were greatly appreciated. The place was clean and spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. The rooms were big with very comfortable beds and pillows. The hot tub was very clean and well maintained. Overall we had a great time and will definitely be coming back.

Weekend getaway

My husband, myself and another couple booked a weekend away and came across this little Gem. Everything you see in the listing you get. The house was so clean, has a super cute set up and was exactly what we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub, the wood fireplace, cooked a couple of beautiful meals and did not look for anything. Any questions I had were answered promptly and clearly and we were checked in on many times via the VRBO apps and host. Great time and already looking at booking another weekend away in the spring.

Our favorite vacation together

My husband and I decided to take a spontaneous trip, and after an extensive search, we chose this property--it turned out to be one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. From the moment we walked in, we felt a sense of comfort and warmth. A beautifully decorated Christmas tree greeted us, setting the perfect tone for our cozy getaway. The chalet was appointed with the proper amenities to allow us the comforts of home. It was impeccably cared for and clean. Whether we were unwinding in the hot tub, exploring the nearby trails and hikes, or simply relaxing indoors, this home provided the perfect backdrop. When it came time to leave, it felt bittersweet. We made many memories here in only a few days. We are deeply grateful to our host, Anahid, for her attention to detail and for making our stay so memorable. We loved every second of our time here and hope to return.

Met all the criteria for the weekend

For my long weekend I wanted a very private place, on a lake, with kayaks, a BBQ, a hot tub, and be within 2.5 hours of Montreal. The final criteria was that it 1) feel like a place I would want to spend time inside - the interior design and furniture pictures gave it the feel of being clean and comfortable, and, 2) have shelter so we could still enjoy the 'outside' if it rained. All the other things being equal, this was actually the only place from all our options that had both. For what looks like a small house it feels bigger, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with showers, and lots of room in the common areas. Clean, kitchen was fully equipped, and the bed and sofa was very comfortable. The lake is really nice and quite big, enough to paddle out and feel like you really went somewhere .. we lazed in the sun on the dock for a bit, watched the planes take off and land. The property is private enough, only one neighbour, I would have liked to be a little further away, but changed my mind about this when I suddenly needed an air pump for one of our inflatables, and help was there. A nice little property.
