"We stayed 4 days at the cabin. It was a perfect location for us to visit family, attend the reunion at Yatesville lake and a place for alone time to recharge. "

"This estate was a perfect family gathering to celebrate a milestone birthday. The host gave important information in a timely manner and the housekeeper answered questions quickly and precisely. The place is kept up and nestled in a beautiful location. Three of the family members played golf one night. Two family members enjoyed runs and the rest explored hiking. There was ample room for everyone; fun activities like ping pong and corn hole. We just had the best time and I am glad I found this...

"The cabin and property were excellent. We enjoyed the porch and set up croquet on the yard. Beds were great. Five grandchildren stayed in the upstairs bedroom with plenty of room. Having their own private deck tickled them. The Twister game at the cabin was a huge hit. "

"Despite a couple of issues "Homeplace" was one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. I am a veteran so I have been to a number of locations. Becky answered my texts promptly. More importantly I had some difficulty locating the home. I didn't realize I was only a few blocks away. Becky answered my call and gave the directions to the house. I couldn't have found a better place to stay nor a better host. I certainly hope if I ever go to the area again this place is available. The home...

"I like the a frame and owner was nice enough to allowed me to store my custom made kayaks in the garage. Liked the lake except for the Casting for Kids pro bass fishing Tournament. This is no place for a kayak while it’s in progress. Fortunately, Grayson Lake is in driving distance. Grayson has got to be the coolest flat water kayak lake. There is a nice 7 mile loop for hiking close by. "

"We were in town for my Grannys funeral. She grew up in this area. This house was perfect. It was walking distance to downtown. Plenty of room. Nice sized kitchen. Very clean with the peefect backyard for visiting. Will stay here again when we are back in town."

"Joe’s place was just what we needed for a relaxing weekend away from home. We stayed in one of the yurts for the first two nights and a cabin on the last night we were there. Both were beautiful and had all the necessities we needed, however we LOVED the cabin as it had a little more privacy. There was a buffet dinner in the restaurant on Saturday and live band under the Pavillion which was so nice! Plenty of hiking trails and ATV trails for riders. Every cabin/ yurt has a hot tub /jacuzzi on...

"Great host and hostess. Great apartment. Great price for extended stays. Quick to reply after questions asked. Allows pets and its rare to find a VRBO that does. Have stayed 2 summers at apartment. Good location close to Paintsville Lake State Park and Jenny Wiley State Park. 5 min drive to Dollar General and approx. 15min drive to Walmart."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The home is very beautiful and fit our family very comfortably. The beds were comfortable and they had many options on where to sleep. It was very quiet and serene. Would definitely recommend for a large family. "

"The place does not exist. Could not find it. Called the host. Host had phone on not accepting calls. I was in the area for my mom's funeral. Had to scramble to find another place to stay. "

"The home and linens were clean, plenty of living space. The house is like walking into a time capsule of your grandmothers home. Very small bathrooms, drafty window AC units still installed in late November, old TVs. No grill outside was disappointing. Tight single stacked parking. There is another small house on the same lot with multiple vehicles coming and going, combined with the close neighbors and there is limited privacy and no outdoor space."
