"My family and I had the BEST time!!! Patrick was awesome. He helped with arranging any tours we wanted, pointed us on where to eat, and where to go if we needed anything. The house was unbelievable. Plenty of space for the seven of us, gorgeous views...everthing we could ask for. And the daily breakfasts were sooooo good. I can't say enough good things about Patrick and the Red Sunset. It is truly the best!!!"

"Absolutely lovely stay! This adorable A frame had all the amenities you could need! And location was perfect. In the middle of a beautiful jungle but only a couple minute drive to restaurants and shopping. Also very conveniently located for seeing Rio Celeste and other tours. I loved the upper balcony that overlooks the jungle. We woke up every morning to the sounds of monkeys, toucans and many other birds. At night there was a firefly show that took my breath away! Absolutely would recommend...

"Lake View Villa was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we felt embraced by the peaceful energy of the property and its surroundings. Nestled among the trees with views that steal your breath away, this home was the perfect balance of rustic charm and thoughtful comfort.One of the highlights was the wellness walking trail—a forest path that felt like stepping into another world. We were constantly in awe of the vibrant birds that graced our walks. Every step brought us closer...

"We stayed several days and as other reviews stated bugs were an issue due to ripped and holes in screens. Cookware needs replacement and the rubber like plastic plates ,which were only option should definitely be replaced. These few easy fix minor cost upgrades would make a huge difference in my opinion. With that constructive criticism being said we enjoyed our stay there and would potentially visit again in the future."

"This house was really a gem, well equipped and surrounded by nature. Just be SURE to rent a 4WD vehicle, as there are many steep and winding dirt roads to access the property with huge potholes and ruts. We knew about this area but if you have never been there be prepared for an off-road experience. Lots of birds and beauty make the effort worthwhile. Friendly and helpful caretakers. We had a lovely time:)"

"Gaetano is a very friendly and helpful host with beautiful accomodations in the middle of the nature. Therefore it's also a bit remote, so for groceries or dining out you'll have to travel."

"Great spot to land and really get away from the majority of tourists. Local restaurants are cheaper, people are happier and it is not that far to all things Arenal. The house was great and property manager responded quickly when we had questions. Only thing is there is just one gate code, doors take a bit to get used to lock and unlock and house is 4th one on the left. But those are just minor things. "

"Sejour fabuleux avec des hotes aux petits soins. Tout etait parfait meme les conseils des restaurants. Pour un sejour proche du rio celeste c'est le lieu ideal et ne pas hésiter a prendre un diner sur place. Ce fut fort sympathique a un tarif tres raisonnable "

"Tiene muy linda terraza, se disfrutan mucho los atardeceres, se siente tranquilidad y está muy cerca de del parque y del rio. La habitación cuenta con los necesario para disfrutar la estadía. No duden en contratar es seguro y tiene un mirador precioso "

"Always nice views on the lake. Close to New Arenal which is useful and we found good restaurants. The house was in the mountains and it was very quiet. It is suitable to have a 4x4 to reach the premises."

"We liked it a lot, spacious, lots of room, clean, sunny rooms. Unfortunately we did not have enough time to enjoys all the amenities and explore the surroundings. Also, it was quite windy even to walk onto the patio."

"The owner was extremely nice and helpful. Place was clean and all cooking tools were provided. Property was beautiful."

"This is very much a stay at a family’s home versus a primary rental purpose. It is a drive to everything but you get a lot of beds for the price. We had a very action packed time closer to La Fortuna so this house fit our low key plans. My husband used the sunroom with beautiful views for Work and the rest of us enjoyed the swimming pool and bird-watching. "
