This lovely setting is quiet and peaceful, yet close to many points of interest in North Georgia and Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Enjoy panoramic views of the valley below from a huge picture window in the second-floor bedroom, watch the sunrise while relaxing in your massive, four-poster, king-sized bed, or watch the beautiful sunset while enjoying dinner on the extra-large deck.

Above the clouds provides the comforts of a fine hotel with the privacy of a mountain retreat. A fully equipped kitchen lets you do your own cooking if you prefer. Located On The First Floor Of The Main House Is The Cloud View Suite, on location within 100 feet of 'Above The Clouds Chalet'. It is a completely furnished one-bedroom suite (two queen beds plus bunk beds and extra twin air beds if needed) that will comfortably sleep 4 people. The suite has a full kitchen, a large living area, and satellite TV as well as Wi-Fi. and a hot tub. Huge covered patio with a superb view of the valley.

First of all the views are spectacular! The home is beautiful and well maintained. The host was exceptionally nice and very accommodating. We had no problems that arose. I would definitely recommend staying here. There were three adults and there was plenty of room for all of us.

This place is amazing! We knew the view was going to be pretty from the pictures, but WOW!!!!! The view is just as beautiful at this house as it is at any view spot for the public, if not more beautiful!.

We had a very pleasant stay at Above the Clouds chalet. If someone is looking for a place with peaceful surroundings where the only sound you hear is that of birds and the wind, look no further. The overall feel of the chalet kind of takes you back in time, which is great, but at the same time there is some scope for improvement.The one thing I would like to clarify for future travelers which was not obvious to me when I booked is - when looking at the pictures you may feel you are booking the entire chalet. That is not the case. A small part of the same building is termed Hawk's Nest and is bookable separately. So you may be sharing a wall with a different set of people. While this is not a big deal, some people may be looking for total privacy in a cabin and may be disappointed with this setup.

This was a wonderful place to stay and enjoy. The view into the valley below is unparalleled from both the backporch and upstairs bedroom. The yard offered some romping space for the dog, even on a leash. The firepit and nice wooden rocking chairs overlook the valley as well. The host was kind enough to provide firewood and starter. The house itself was comfortable and welcoming. There was plenty of room for the 3 of us to spread out and settle in. The back porch hot tub was a nice touch as well and offered some good relaxation for sore muscles after a long day of hiking. I was also glad that there was a side porch entrance onto the back porch, which was great for my elderly mom who had some trouble trying to go up the stairs at the front door (she could go down them with little problem though). The stairs at the front door are honestly very small and wouldn't be an issue for the average person. My mom had trouble with them only because she has some hereditary muscle weakness problems and is also a bit overweight. The side porch entry offered her an easy way in and out. The house is located on a quiet road just a short drive from Cloudland Canyon. It's not too much further to go down to Trenton (which does require driving down the mountain but the road is a good drive). Dave the host was very kind and friendly and stopped by to chat with us one day. We'll definitely stay here again the future if in the area. Thank you for the wonderful experiemce!friennTh

We were very surprised by how quiet and beautiful the chalet was. The place was very clean and they thought of everything that you may need while staying there. There’s even antiques to admire through out! Dave was an excellent host. Words cannot express how breathtaking the views are! Dave, the host was a wonderful joy to meet. We enjoyed ourselves and are already planning on coming back to stay next year!

We were lucky enough to snag this wonderful cabin as a refuge for hurricane Milton. There were 4 of us, our 2 dogs, and 3 cars packed with our most important family possessions. Despite the uncertainty and stress, we had a great time enjoying the view and beautiful country. Our hosts were kind, thoughtful and gracious - we could not have asked for more!!! A++++++

The perfect spot to relax and watch the days go by. We had a great time with friends and loved the outside space. Our dog, Scout, had just as much fun relaxing as we did and enjoyed the walks we took along the quiet road.

The drive to the property was absolutely beautiful. I was met by lots of deer every time I came and went. You feel like you are in the middle of nowhere but it's a short drive to restaurants and grocery stores. You have an incredible view no matter where you are in the house. The night's got cool so I enjoyed the outdoor fire pit I enjoyed every minute of being there.
