"The huts were clean, new, and well equipped. Nothing fancy, but done well. I'd return."

"Such a nice little cabin. We weren't able to enjoy the sauna because of our short stay but it looked really cool. We did really make use of the wood stove inside the cabin. We was very grateful for that. The fact that we could take my mom's dog was wonderful! The owners provided everything you'd need to be comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised by the bonfire pit and the awesome wood supply even though we didn't use it. We'd love to come back some day. It was a great experience!"

"This cottage is very comfortable in a safe, calm and peaceful setting. It had everything we needed and we were even able to borrow dog beds to make sure our dogs didn't get cozy on furniture! It is a perfect location to explore Copper country. We did several hikes in the area including Mt. Baldy, Black Creek, Eagle Harbor trails, Horseshoe Harbor, and the trail in the town of Central. After hiking in the rain one day, we fired up the common sauna for some extra relaxation."

"We really enjoyed the fact it was so quiet. It may be the time of year, but we are already tentatively planning a spring visit to family and this is top of the list! Also, the fact they even have a couple blankets to the side for pets who sleep on the bed was a nice touch."

"This cottage was everything as advertised. When driving up to the property my husband commented “Wow, this is it!” after staying in a few other areas that were not as quiet and private. Right smack dab in wooded nature yet cleared grounds for exploring. Steps away from Lake Superior, we were able to enjoy the beautiful sunsets as well as search for the infamous Yooperlites. "What an amazing find to stay at the Quincy House for one night. We stayed in what was formally known as the maids quarters of this historical home. There was a lot of attention to detail for travelers including fresh cut flowers. There was a small refrigerator with waters, keuring for hot beverages, along with breakfast bars & oatmeal for a quick breakfast or snack. The hosts even had thimbleberry jam for sale. "This really is a great location. It's close to various shops and restaurants. Its right next door to a grocery/ convenience store, very helpful. The house was very clean upon arrival and it had everything we needed. The owner even had some snacks set out and beverages in the fridge, which was a nice touch. The owner was very responsive to emails and questions. We will definitely be back next summer. We had a great time. "

"We had such an amazing time at Kim’s cabin! The location was perfect—close enough to explore sites on the Keeweenaw Peninsula, and Kim shared some great locations to see, which made our trip even more memorable. One of the biggest highlights for us was being able to bring our two dogs—our big 80-pound pup and our little beagle. "Our extended family of 11 (including kids, grandkids, and parents) stayed here for a week at the end of August for our annual rock hunting / beach relaxing vacation. We could not have asked for a better vacation. Easy to understand check in instructions, great location, and the beach was awesome.
