"Love this house! The location was wonderful! It’s close to river, zoo, park and in a lovely little neighborhood. The house was clean and everything we needed was there. King bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed all aspects of the house. Will definitely stay here again if in the Sacramento area and will happily refer our friends. "

"The house was exactly as pictured. Beautiful home, well kept. We enjoyed the pool it was very relaxing. There were also a ton of toys that my kids really enjoyed playing with. Tons of space for the kiddos to play. Loved the coffee table books on the architect. "

"Pros: Good location with great view, plenty of space. Warm hostess and responsive. Cons: Furnishings are not updated. Weak WiFi due to remote location. Coffee maker not working."

"The owner was quick to respond and checked on us when the power went out. The alarm system was a bit of an annoyance. It chirped our whole stay, even after we replaced the battery in the smoke detector. To be fair we did not contact the owner with this complaint. We were so busy with funeral services that we just did not have the energy. Also the dishwasher is in need of some attention "

"I had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful home situated on a small private island along the Sacramento River. The neighborhood was an unexpected gem, filled with luxury homes and serene surroundings. The house itself was well-updated, tastefully furnished, and boasted an incredible river view—a perfect retreat.The only minor inconvenience was that some dishes were not clean upon arrival. However, the dishwasher quickly resolved this, so it didn’t detract from the overall experience. A...

"The cottage is perfect for two people. My husband and I enjoyed are stay. Very private and perfect for a quick get away to attend a wedding. The back yard was well kept and we saw rabbits and birds in the morning. Very charming. One tip for the ladies, the bathroom area is not lit very well. "The house is very spacious and in a nice neighborhood. The neighborhood is nice to walk in and very close to pastures with cows milling about. Quite pleasant. Very well suited for families. Not a party house but a family house. The kitchen has quite a few cooking supplies such as pots, pans, and serving bowls. We rented the house over the holidays and it worked out well for family gatherings of eight people. The host had a number of nice touches like snacks, coffee and soft drinks...

"Very disappointed in my stay here. I stayed here for 5 days and needed a space to work remotely. Arrived at 1pm for check in and realized no itinerary was emailed to me so I do not have the code to enter the property. Called host several times, no response. Rang the doorbell of the host's family and no response. Host called me back at 7:45pm, almost 7 hours after check in to give me the code. No itinerary, also meant no access to wifi and the neighborhood has terrible cell phone reception...
