"This is a really good hotel in an excellent location, close to public transport , cinemas, restaurants and the whole Eastland shopping complex. The rooms are comfortable and clean. A restaurant is available and there's a good bar for a refreshing drink. We always stay here when in Ringwood, and the staff always make us feel as if we've come home"

"We loved Yarra Valley Lodge! Super comfy bed and loads of kangaroos across the property which we cool to see!
The property could benefit from a cosy lounge/bar area as the existing bar wasn’t that inviting."

"Lovely hotel and lovely room. Very clean and comfortable. I had issues connecting to the WiFi, which I'm sure the staff could help with if I contacted them, but I didn't bother on this occasion.
The breakfast offering, for what it is, is very expensive, comprising of about 5 or 6 small bain maries with 2 different food items inside, some breakfast pastries, a small fridge with some fruits, and fresh juices / coffee machine. A nice touch was being able to request fresh made omelets, poached...

"It was hard to find in the beginning because the signage was not clearly visible. It was also weird that you need to go up to 2nd level for the reception. Staff were a bit disappointing because they are not as responsive but I guess, they are just doing their job.
The room was clean, equipped though a bit small.
The food could be better with more selections but for the price, it’s ok.

"The first room that I was given, smelt terribly of cigarette smoke when I entered. I opened the balcony door to get some fresh air into the room. I very quickly closed the door again, as there was a pile of cigarettes butts in the middle of the balcony. I went down to the reception area to inform them of the situation. They very quickly & most apologetically gave me a much better room."
