"This is a really good hotel in an excellent location, close to public transport , cinemas, restaurants and the whole Eastland shopping complex. The rooms are comfortable and clean. A restaurant is available and there's a good bar for a refreshing drink. We always stay here when in Ringwood, and the staff always make us feel as if we've come home"

"We loved Yarra Valley Lodge! Super comfy bed and loads of kangaroos across the property which we cool to see!
The property could benefit from a cosy lounge/bar area as the existing bar wasn’t that inviting."

"Great staff, very friendly and helpful, great location yet quiet on an upper floor. Heater worked fine, everything fine in room except the shower could not maintain hot water for more than 15-20 seconds at a time, so showers were a bit of a struggle cycling through hot water then suffering cold water and waiting for hot water again. "Lovely hotel and lovely room. Very clean and comfortable. I had issues connecting to the WiFi, which I'm sure the staff could help with if I contacted them, but I didn't bother on this occasion.
The breakfast offering, for what it is, is very expensive, comprising of about 5 or 6 small bain maries with 2 different food items inside, some breakfast pastries, a small fridge with some fruits, and fresh juices / coffee machine. A nice touch was being able to request fresh made omelets, poached...
