"More difficult to get to since hwy. 58 closed at Damascus. Pretty drive taking the long way. Too bad the Virginia creeper trail closed, I was able to go down until the first washed out bridge at green cove. Enjoyed the quiet stay."

"We had a lot of fun staying at this Cabin. My girlfriend and I and our dog were in a road trip from Florida to Pennsylvania and we stopped in Traphill to hike Stone Mountain. Ed was a wonderful host and very responsive. The cabin was clean and cozy and had everything we needed and then some. The view is absolutely spectacular, particularly at sunrise! "My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cozy, mountain cabin. The location was perfect — close to West Jefferson, Wilkesboro, Boone and the area where we plan to build our own cabin.
