"We had originally booked the studio apt for Jan 9 to visit an elderly parent - a family emergency came up and we had to move our visit to as soon as possible - the owner kindly allowed us to transfer the booking to an earlier date, the 5th (the day after my distressed call) at the cottage instead so other family members could stay as well. Owner is not local, so apparently did not know that the cottage was not quite prepared for guests- it was clean, but not stocked and had some repairs going...

"Our stay at Danny’s rental was excellent. He provided wonderful communication, was attentive and quick to respond when needed, and the check-in process was a breeze. The apartment was clean, modern, and the arcade and board games were a hit with my nephews! There were some necessities provided, like a keurig and some coffee K-cups, plenty of plates/cups/utensils, a hair dryer, soap and travel shampoo/conditioner, and it’s helpful there is a washer and dryer with detergent provided if needed. "The perfect place for two people looking for a peaceful getaway. Right on the Jackson River Scenic Trail for biking. Top Jackson River fishing and kayaking spots all within close proximity. The apartment feels large with lots of storage, full kitchen, roomy bathroom and multiple windows for fresh air. The bed and loveseat were comfy. Keep the windows open at night and drift off to sleep with the sounds of the river then wake up to the lovely songs of the birds!"

"I would've given the property a higher rating, but the outside property is not what you're going to see that's listed in the photo.. the river is beautiful but...I sent the property manager many pictures of issues beginning with the lack of deep cleaning, especially for the kitchen ovens .. the one in the main house looked like it not been cleaned for a very long time..Our nanny found a sock with a substance in one of the drawers in the basement, and my daughter found dirty towels, and socks in...

"This was not at all like pictured. It was directely above a bar that was so loud until 1:00AM. we did not even stay here. we drove 1 1/2 hours away to stay in a hotel to actually sleep. i want my money back please. if anyone knew what this was they would not stay here"
