"We had a great stay - the cabin was well stocked and clean. We mostly stayed outdoors and enjoyed the incredible view, it rained quite a bit but we didn't mind because the covered porch was a perfect place to sit and immerse yourself in nature. Great location to relax and unwind!"

"Wonderful host! Beautiful campsite! Clean Port-a-potty, with 2-ply toilet tissue! Awning over a picnic table for a nice dinner, there's a grill, fire ring, wood supplied and chairs. We camped at "Big D's Pond", one of his two camping sites. The only drawback is that there's no place to wash/clean up. "Hippie baths" All in all, you will not be disappointed!"

"Absolutely fantastic! Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, and the view is phenomenal. We had five adults and had a great time with the outdoor games. Would be suitable for kids as well. We didn't want to leave and would absolutely stay again as we had a great stay and enjoyed every minute. Hosts were also great - they were immediately responsive to our needs (only needed a new propane tank for the grill) and so friendly. "

Little details... the scent of the unit, the sweet sound of rain drops on the roof, the ample firewood, and the detailed organization add so much charm to this property. "Perfect cabin for a weekend getaway. The community is unique in that it is gated, but 1200 acres. We only used the upstairs bedrooms, but the beds were comfortable. Loved the screened in porch!! The only addition that is needed is a fly swatter. Some very large, but slow moving flies appeared on our last night and we had to get creative with how we disposed of them. Very clean cabin! "

"Clean, well-appointed space. Check-in was easy as could be. When I needed to call the owner, I got an answer right away. Beautiful place and you can see so many stars. Definitely recommend! When we come back to ride the railroad with our kids, I think we'll be staying here again."

"It’s been about 1 month since staying here and I still think about it. It was perfect for what I needed it for. This place was clean, comfortable, and the location was great. I visit my dad often and try to add places to my list of perfect stays and this is another great find. I’ll be adding this one for sure. Thanks for a great stay! "
