"We had a milestone birthday to celebrate in our family and decided to really treat ourselves to renting this lovely home only 2 hours from DC. It was absolutely perfect in every way. Water views---spectacular!! Spent the entire weekend with family and a few friends in the pool, hot tub, playing outdoor chess by the pool, kayaking, biking, fishing....just sitting and watching to gorgeous wildlife (Eagles/Ospray/Blue Herons/Egrets....bluebirds/kingfishers/cardinals! "The cottage was perfect for my husband and I. It was clean, cozy and a perfect location with the dock. We were able to bring our boat, fish, and crab. It was incredibly relaxing! The neighbors were extremely nice and very helpful!"

"We had a great 2 night stay this past month. The house was immaculate and well- equipped in all ways- comfortable beds, plenty of nice quality towels, kitchen utensils, pots etc . "We are not strangers to the area, my wife having grown up in the area, but each time we stay on the Chesapeake we feel at home. The Hideaway is so nice that you don't want to go back your actual home! It is furnished as if it is a year-round residence, no cheap or mismatched furniture and appliances. We enjoy cooking and the kitchen is has everything you need and it works. The yard and amenities are top notch. If you enjoy bird watching, sit in the back yard and take in the bird activity...
