Ubicado a solo 14 millas del centro de Cooperstown, Sunrise Lodge es la escapada perfecta. Este albergue de 2 dormitorios y 1 baño, ubicado en 100 acres privados, ofrece a los huéspedes vistas impresionantes de la zona. Sunrise Lodge ofrece kilómetros de senderos para caminar, vistas panorámicas, áreas de pícnic con mesas y pesca para "atrapar y soltar" en uno de los 10 estanques. Al final de su día, puede reunirse alrededor de nuestro anillo de fogata para recapitular su día y disfrutar del cielo nocturno y las estrellas. Great, serene, countryside location with view from a hilltop. Very well equipped kitchen and household supplies. Many many many outlets for charging devices. Comfortable beds. Although it only had one bathroom for three bedrooms, it was adequate for our foursome. Extra touches like lots of bottles of water and a full on s’mores kit to use with the fire pit were appreciated. Would love to have stolen one of those rocking Adirondack chairs, but… Alas… It wouldn’t fit in our suitcase. Very clean and the house was small enough that two window air conditioners more than adequately cooled the house.

We can't say enough how much we enjoyed our stay. The Sunrise Lodge is magical. We have four kids and they loved every inch of the lodge and the outdoor areas. The youngest two said it was the best place for playing hide and seek. Brad was so friendly and accommodating. Great tip about swimming at Glimmerglass! We would definitely stay again...the location is close to all the area attractions, but away from the crowds.

Brad was extremely friendly and accessible, and stopped by after we had gotten settled just to see how things were going.The property is absolutely beautiful and provided the peaceful break we were looking for at the end of long days of baseball. The longer ride to the All Star Village was worth it for us. My kids enjoyed the loft sleeping area and there was plenty of space for all of us.

Cooperstown Getaway

We absolutely loved the cabin and had a wonderful time as a family fishing and sitting around at the fire pit at night. Such a beautiful place! Brad was a great host! He provided fishing poles and multiple loads of firewood for the fire pit! Short distance to Cooperstown Dreams Park and provided a quiet getaway from the ball field. My grown adult boys absolutely loved fishing in the pond and actually catching fish! Would definitely stay again!

Very nice place, very clean and very well stocked. When I say very well stocked, I mean Brad and family have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. The views are incredible, and fishing on the in the ponds on the property was amazing. We stayed during our son’s Cooperstown tournament and the drive in to Cooperstown every day amazingly beautiful. We will certainly return to this place if our younger sons play in Cooperstown. One of the best VRBO experiences I have ever had.

Fall Getaway

Excellent stay! Brad was so helpful - answering my emails promptly prior to the visit and also helped us quickly during our time at the property when we couldn't figure out the TV. He left supplies for s'mores which were thoroughly enjoyed, and even left worms for my husband and son, who had planned to fish. We've stayed at maybe 5 places together as a family, and this was the simplest and easiest check-in and check-out process we have encountered. The house was perfect for our family and our kids enjoyed every nook and cranny (the loft was a big hit!). The property was beautiful and three of us enjoyed a long walk (and saw two groups of deer) while the other two fished (and encountered wild turkey). We were staying in the area primarily to see the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown (which was fantastic!) but I know we'll look back on the 'cabin memories' just as fondly as the museum itself. Highly recommend for anyone considering!

Our Cooperstown trip.

I’m only allowed to give 5 stars I would give 6 if I could. Being 20 minutes from Cooperstown the peacefulness of this property can’t be beat. The owners have thought of everything right down to the S’more’s Kit. Communications with the owner could not have been better. This property checked off all our boxes. We would 100% stay here again.

Trip of a lifetime

Everything was better than advertised! Being from the city, this was a complete departure (literally) from everything we're used to. Brad was an incredible host, making sure everything we needed was taken care of, from keeping the GIANT property maintained, down to making sure there were all the necessities for S'mores were ready for us! We stayed for a baseball tournament and couldn't have asked for more from our stay!

Guys golf trip

An at once serene and breathtaking atmosphere, the cabin was perfect for our family of five. Great views of the mountains and valleys of upstate New York, a quick drive to Cooperstown, and ample but homey accommodations make this place a great stay.

Outstanding retreat!

Our family stayed here for 4 days while our sons baseball team played in the Cooperstown area. We're so glad we chose this lodge as it offers a complete home away from home experience from the kitchen, bath, tv, internet, and temperature control. Theres absolutely nothing we required besides food and drink which was a convenient 10 minute drive away into town. If you're into fishing, bring your gear as the property ponds have some of the biggest fresh water bass we've ever caught! One small tip if you're over 6' tall, and it's no ding on the place, but watch your head in the kitchen and bath areas :) The host was very welcoming and available if needed. We hope to get back up to the area and stay here again!

The most peaceful VRBO ever!

Sunrise Lodge at Mt. Waiontha is a wonderful place to stay if you want to escape city life. The only sounds we could hear from the house were the sounds of nature. It was the most relaxing few days we've had in ages. Brad was a lovely host and stopped by to help us with the AC at one point. For anyone who wants to get away from a busy life, I highly recommend a stay here.

Great cabin with beautiful scenery

We stayed only two quick nights - but the cabin was great! Had everything we needed and Brad was easy to communicate with the whole time. The fire pit was a big hit. I only wish we could have stayed longer to explore more!

Great Property for Young Families

We stayed at Brad’s property for a long weekend visit to Cooperstown/Baseball HOF and had a terrific time. My young family enjoyed the abundant outdoors, fishing, nightly fires and exploration. Gorgeous setting and the commute to Cooperstown was very easy. Super relaxing and peaceful Brad was a terrific host. Highly recommend!
