"Location and very well Maintained with friendly staff"

"Wonderful hotel in a great location. It was awesome to be able to walk to the Menil Collection. One of our favorite areas of Houston. The only thing that was odd, and a safety hazard was the shower. No door or curtain allowed water to get all over the bathroom floor making it very slippery. We had to put towels down all over the floor."

"The place was clean and modern and the breakfast was very good. However, they run the place really cheaply so I would not go back. They only clean the rooms every other day but give you towels for 1 day. The room had no conditioner and the body lotion didn’t work. There was no bar soap. They use the cheapest, thinnest toilet paper I’ve encountered in a hotel. They give you 1 coffee capsule for your stay, no matter how many nights. And they charge $20 per day for parking."

"Spacious, very clean, quiet room. Amazing beds. Covered parking garage on site, with private access, so it feels very safe, also, they have security personnel making rounds. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Cleaning service is offered every third day, the hotel makes a note of that in the small card they attach to your room key. Didn't try the restaurant since we cooked in our room's kitchen."

"Although the hotel is gorgeous and well kept, the service is somewhat on a mediocre level. The valet and staff are extremely friendly and exemplify southern hospitality 100%. However, upon arrival is when I was notified of the $100 incidental fee PER NIGHT which they said also covers amenities so I don’t have to pay out of pocket. After much turmoil, I was able to finally get into my room. One night my companion and I went ATV riding as one of our excursions so you can imagine the dirt that was...

"The location was perfect for attending the World Cup at NRG Stadium. The staff was very engaging and friendly especially Tabitha. She was very happy to point out several places to visit while in Houston. She deserves a gold star!"

"We have stayed here many times and liked it. However this time they put us on the 17th floor when the 18th floor was under complete renovation (ripping up floors etc). I am talking jack hammers right above our heads to the point that I could not even make a phone call in my room let alone a nap!! When I complained we got moved to a suite on the 14th floor and free lunch. BUT I don't have any idea why they would put anyone on the 17th floor under jackhammers!"

While we were away, housekeeping found the sink broken. Instead of investigating what happened, management immediately decided it was our co-worker's fault, charged her $350, police wad called, and had her removed from the hotel.
