"We enjoyed the historic charm of the hotel, and it was incredibly easy to drive to from multiple directions. The staff was universally pleasant and accommodating to some unusual requests (one of us got sick during our stay). The afternoon tea offered on weekends was truly fabulous: delicious and elegantly served, with piano music accompaniment. This was so much better in every way than a generic “big box” hotel."

"Continental breakfast is 5 stars. Clean room, comfortable bed, friendly staff. Parking was not ideal but I’ll check on that prior to booking next time. All in all, would stay here again!"

"Place was fantastic! I liked the added touches like drinks and treats. Alandra and Camille helped me and were amazing at the front desk. They were so genuinely nice and friendly. Made me feel very welcome. Room very clean, comfy bed. Definitely would stay again and recommend to others."

"We had a great stay, staff were pleasant and very helpful. Beds and pillows are average. Large updated rooms. Stayed on a weeknight and was allowed a late checkout with no extra charge. Parking is $25 but secured with key pass. Entry to hotel and elevators are secured with key pass."

"The property was great. The staff we encountered was rude though. Me and a friend stayed here while visiting my sister and I don't stay at hotels very often but the guy that helped us check in was rude and at the end was making gestures as we walked away. I wish there were people behind us watching him. He was ridiculous. It was bad enough we were in an area we were not familiar with and then had this guy. I wish I knew his name so I could add it."

"The room had minor damage in the bathroom. The breakfast staff did not replenish the items as needed so a few items were unavailable. "

"We stayed over the weekend for a wedding. Lovely hotel views, great breakfast, and ease of access were some of our most notable highlights. Hotel staff were friendly and exteremely helpful. Enrique and the entire staff were extremely accommodating and made our experience so much better. We had an amazing time and will be back again."

"It's close to the U of M medical facilities which is why we chose here the first time but now we return because it is clean and well maintained. Also, the you hotel is locked at all times so people cannot just walk in off the street."

"Very comfortable stay! Staff are friendly and super helpful. Room extremely clean and the property well-kept and appealing. Stayed for a few days and the breakfast buffet standard for these kinds of hotels, but always hot and consistent every morning. In the same lot great dining option as well. 0 complaints!! Only one suggestion, an ATM or cash advance on room incidentals hold would be really helpful for those who not carrying cash and wish to leave tips. All in all a great visit."
