Welcome to Matriz Sunset View, a magnificent coastal apartment with breathtaking views overlooking the Atlantic ocean. Enjoy the most spectacular nightly sunsets right from the comfort of your living room. The views from the apartment face west to Ribeira Grande giving you the most amazing views of the coastline. The apartment is centrally located and only a short 5-10 minute walk to the central cafes and restaurants and you can even walked to the supermarket Continente. You are steps away from Ribeira Grande’s famous salt water pools and minutes from Areal de Santa Bárbara Beach, Monte Verde Beach and the historic center of Ribeira Grande.

The apartment was thought through with every detail to provide a relaxing stay for lovers of nature, beaches and the sea. Matriz Sunset View is a spacious 168m sq apartment, newly renovated fully equipped, consisting of 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living and dining room and open plan kitchen, with heating and air conditioning. The panoramic balcony is without a doubt the icing on the cake, facing the Atlantic Ocean and the imposing and beautiful north coast of the island, it invites you to have a meal in the light of a magnificent sunset, or enjoy a quiet relaxing early morning yoga session or regular physical exercise that is part of your routine on a suitable mat that is available for use.

If you are looking to enjoy the beach or pools on your vacation, know that you can count on soft beach towels, chairs, mats, beach rackets , umbrellas, picnic baskets, coolers, ice packs, snorkel and fins, beach pails and toys, pool noodles.

If you are passionate about nature walks and walking along the trails of our beautiful green island then you are in for a treat, the island is a hikers paradise, there are many, many trails to enjoy. To get you started you will find we have set up a wall space with pamphlets of some of the trails to choose from as well as a scan code that will give you access to all the islands trails, information and maps. Included for your use are 2 walking sticks and binoculars (kindly always remember to return to its place when not in use). If yours is a short stay and want to make the most out of your time then renting a car or booking with local tours you will love touring the island with access the many lookout points (miradours) our favorite is always taking a swim suit and towel with you as you will come across the most refreshing swimming a holes in the island while driving along the coast. Always head into the villages and look for natural pools ( piscinas natural) you will not be disappointed, the water temperature never drops below 65c so there is always someone swimming. After you will appreciate having access to full laundry room with a separate washer and dryer, ironing board, iron and clothes line in the event of getting a little more dirt on your clothes during the walks and tours.

If you like to prepare your own meals, know that you have found the right accommodation, as the kitchen is fully equipped with everything and more, all the utensils and appliances you will need for casual or formal meals.

If what you need is a moment to unwind and just want some down time you can watch a movie as our (Guest) on Netflix or your favorite series on a Smart TV or enjoy a variety of games for fun moments with family or friends you'll find in the living room. In the house you will find all the amenities for an unforgettable vacation with family or friend

The apartment is on the first floor, a short walk up the stairs or you can choose to take the elevator. It is the first door on your left. Parking is always available in the front, you also have access to lots of parking in the rear of the building, you gain access by using the fob (cammondo) that will be provided to you.

We inform that check-ins, between 9 pm and 8 am, have an extra cost of 30€, that is charged in the moment of the check-in.

Standard check-in time is after 5 pm. It can be any time if the house is available. It has to be confirmed first.
