8/10
Not 5*!
The staff are great and very personable. Especially George (entertainment), Yulia and Nikos (Servers). However, there isn’t enough of them, you can be queueing at the bar for 5-10 mins when there’s only 3/4 people in front. The entertainment is great but you have to actively try to find out what is going on as it is only advertised on a small poster in the gym. Had to go round the pool myself to try get a few people to play volleyball. The gym is mediocre, it’s outside which means you can probably do about 20 mins before you overheat and the equipment is a bit limited. The pool and beach area is nice and well looked-after but its important to know the beach is public (this isn’t the hotels fault, its the law) therefore may be wise to think twice when leaving valuables whilst you go for a dip (we didn’t have an issue though). As for the rooms, they’re decent, the beds are comfy and you have enough space. Would’ve expected to see an iron and ironing board for a 5* but that’s acceptable. The cleaners do a good job of cleaning your room but weren’t replenishing mini-bar, toiletries etc. I had to ask for a bar of soap, even though it was clear ours was nearly finished. They do come round in the evening replacing towels though which is a nice touch. Lastly, the food was decent. Everything was well cooked and tasty but became very repetitive especially breakfast. The crepe bar and pizzeria is great but again you can queue for a while and the pizza is one slice not a full pie
