"Love the deluxe cabins with hot tub/bathtub. Because we booked with outside party checking in after hours was a little scary. They didnt receive our booking until after hrs and had no idea we were booked and it would be late. Booking with most resorts you dont have to much to worry about what time you get in and when traveling on the road you never have an exact time. I did call in and leave a message before store hrs were over but attendant didnt hear it. Fortunately the attendant was checking...

"We thoroughly enjoyed most everything about this lovely cabin. Nicely furnished, clean, quaint furnishings with modern conveniences; indeed our only suggestion was that the mattresses be updated. We loved the front porch rocking chairs and the flowering mountain laurel all around the cabin community! "

"This quaint little place was all it was advertised! From the welcome video to the rose petal heart on the bed, the place had all the little things that made the stay incredible. Sitting out by the coy pond and watching the doe and her fawn walk over to us was the start of a great evening. Laying back on the bed and watching the satellites fly over was amazing. Hope they have a return guest discount, we would come back!"

"My boyfriend and I decided to take a weekend trip for my birthday with our two cats, the entirety of the land was absolutely magical, the most breathtaking views is from campsite 104, we will definitely come back to this stunning place!!"

"Cool house in a beautiful and scenic area. The owners have put a lot of work into renovating this property and overall it's beautiful. They still have some work to do on the sliding doors, patio, and pool, but this didn't detract from our stay. Great living room and theater room with plenty of seating for large family's. "We were stopping in the area to visit New River Gorge on the way to visiting our son in North Carolina. The house was conveniently located, within 30 minutes of the Canyon Rim Visitor Center and hikes we planned for the afternoon, 15 minutes from the Grandview Visitor Center we planned to visit on our way out the next morning. "Pro: Beautiful area. New River Gorge is amazing. The house had everything you needed with a good layout. We couldn't have a fire due to the drought, but the firepit looked great. Also, because of the drought, the water levels were low but host provide 6 gallons of drinking water. Con: Directions to the property were not helpful and we had to call VRBO twice while driving around for an hour to figure out where to go.
