"Great location. House was very clean and organized. Had good supply of cooking equipment. Beautiful lake property Did not use the basement at all. Felt unsure about the stairs without a hand rail. "

"The description and the pictures are very misleading. We drove up walked in and left immediately! THERE IS NO A/C . When you stay in a home especially when it is 95 degrees outside it becomes a sauna. The entire place is so small. I could touch both walls standing in the middle of the room. The pictures of the lake are very misleading. its' a freaking swamp. Also there "boat" they offer was filled with water half sunk into the lank and covered in pond scum. Also not to mention you are one block...

"Our first night was great the win picked up Friday and an old cottonwood fell on the owners pontoon motor. The neighbor came over and helped me clean up the driveway, incredible people do exist. Host answered my call prompqnd apologized. Mother nature always wins, thank god everyone was safe. 5* hospitality. Woukd recommended this place to anyone! "

"Love location"

"Clean and convenient to the plethora of fishing lakes. Super nice couple own the property. It's not what one would consider a secluded Northwoods retreat since it sits on a busy highway, but if traffic isn't a concern, it's a great place to stay. For my fishing trip, it was perfect. Had plenty of room for truck, boat, and trailer along with an electrical hookup. I would definitely book again. "

"Great experience. Rented Zula's Retreat for a week over Memorial Day to enjoy a quiet week away just to rest and relax. The back deck, overlooking the lake, with its rocking patio chairs and table was perfect. We spent a lot of time out there, and I appreciated the handbuilt deck gate, which allowed our dog to easily join us. The house was well appointed and outfitted with everything you might need. "This is a nice little cottage on the shores of Lake Julia. The place has everything you could need for a week of vacation. Kitchen is well stocked with the basics, with plenty of room for everyone to stretch out. One note to any families: only one bathroom for the entire house but not an issue for us. "The Barn exceeded expectations. Judging by the photos, we knew it would be nice but it was even better than we had hoped. Check in was simple and the place had everything you could hope for.
