"We started our Iceland holiday with first 2 nights stay at cabin 5A. I’m glad we did as it set the bar really high and at the end of our 9 day trip, the family unanimously agreed this was our favourite accommodation in the entire trip! Cabin had everything we needed, extremely clean, hosts were v responsive, and being in open lands (yet near enough to nearby towns), we were treated to 2 nights of auroras when we were there!! The hot tub brought so much joy too, can’t wait to be back! "

"The Blue View Cabins offer a well thought out self-catering experience in an area which allows you to beat the tour groups to key sites on the Golden Circle. To top it off, each cabin is equipped with a private geothermically heated hot tub. The accommodation is well furnished and well finished in a modern style, and the whole was very clean. "Maybe one of our favorite places. Enough space for 5 of us. Very clean and neat and just enough furniture. Great hot tub with views. There were not very many food places nearby but we drove out for dinner. The kitchen was great too if you’d like to cook. Great sleep. Nice windows everywhere. "

"Die Unterkunft liegt im positiven Sinne im Nirgendwo, Mitten im Grünen, mit wunderbarer Aussicht in die Natur. Das Haus besteht aus mehreren Apartmentes, die für sich abgeschlossen sind und einem geteilten Aufenhaltsbereich, der eine echte Perle ist. Lediglich zum nächsten Supermarkt ist es etwas weiter, also am besten schon auf der Fahrt mit Lebensmitteln eindecken. Ich kann es von Herzen empfehlen. "

The only heads up I’d offer others booking is that the cottage is not located directly in Fludir, which it appears on the Expedia booking page. This wasn’t an issue for us, but it worth being aware of. "
