"The Cannons is a spacious apartment pretty much in the heart of Southwold which is beautifully decorated, comfortably furnished and ideal for the perfect stay. Only downside is having to tear yourself away when it’s time to leave! "

"Bridget’s cottage was perfect for our needs. Ideally positioned with a shop just opposite stocking a wide range of delicious food and other essentials and just a few minutes drive from the centre of Southwold. The cottage was very clean and welcoming and we very much enjoyed our stay."

"A lovely apartment in the perfect location. The beach is at the end of the road with Southwold pier a 5 min walk away. Once we parked the car there was no need to use it again until we came home, enjoying what Southwold had to offer. The Sole Bay Inn is a dog friendly pub about a 5 min walk away,offering very good food."

Lovely clean, bright and airy flat.A real homely feel, well appointed kitchen, excellent views from the comfortable lounge.Minor issues was the double bed as apposed to a king size bed, front door can be a bit draughty when the wind is directly at the property.Close to the pier and town, a superb holiday bolt hole for a few days break. "

"Two - bed in bedroom is very high.we found it very hard as we two old ladies,toilet is very low so again hard to use.The door to get into the apartment is hard too turn ,we had to ask for help at times.we enjoyed our stay but for us it spoiled our holiday a bit."

"Lovely property in quiet county setting. We were a group on 8 friends staying for a long weekend. Plenty of space for us all to sit and relax. Well equipped kitchen, had everything needed to make our stay memorable. An hours walk across the fields to Southwold with its old fashioned pier, fish and chips and Adnams brewery and distillery. We booked a tour of Sizewell B nuclear power station that was well worth a visit!"

"My husband, three year old daughter and I had a lovely stay at the lighthouse. Perfect location, 5 minute walking distance to town and a stones throw from the beach. The apartment is really modern, a quiet and relaxing space for a long weekend. My daughter loved the bunk beds! Could have been a little cleaner - quite dusty and lots of cobwebs. Sheets and towels were very fresh and clean but there were a few stains on most of them so could be time to replace. Overall we had a wonderful time and...

"Sandy Lodge was a perfect stay for us and our besties. Perfectly located between the town and harbour, we had no need to move the cars after our arrival. The house is quirky, bright, airy and sun- filled. The lovely garden with two places to sit has wonderful views across the matshes to the common and Southwold. The beds were really comfortable and the house was spotlessly clean. One note ( and this is fussiness - lined curtains would be great in the bedrooms as we were woken early by the bright...
